Located near the beautiful beaches of Corolla, guests can explore local attractions such as the historic Whalehead Club, the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, and the charming shops and restaurants in the area. As a guest at Half Schell, you'll also have access to a community pool and tennis courts courtesy of the Currituck Club. This Corolla vacation rental is also just a short drive or bike ride away from the pristine beaches of Corolla, allowing you to take advantage of those endless beach days you deserve so much.

Inside Half Schell, you'll be welcomed by an open living area with plenty of seating and a flat-screen TV. It's the perfect space for gathering and catching up with friends and family.   • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. All great except for the initial check in

We had a great time and everything was as advertised. The one issue we had was with the front gate code to get into the neighborhood. The original code we recieved was not valid and so we couldn't gain access to the home for over an hour.
