”We feel that Glorietta Bay Hotel main building is beautiful hotel with great people that work there. However we did have an issue with the AC turning on and off during the night which I notified the staff. It was coming on and off every 10 to 15 minutes very loud and not always cooling like it was just the compressor. Also I would like to say that the room is very dated seems that doing an upgrade hasn’t been a priority and that is a shame.”

”Extremely busy corner intersection, rush hour traffic all day long. Bring earplugs or sound machine to sleep. Rooms are not well maintained and the outdoor patio was super dirty, I had to use baby wipes to spot clean cushions and table. This area is vital for the guests who get the rooms that are so small only 2 beds fit, you will not see a picture of this room on the website #110. My brother’s family got that room and we got #111 which was much nicer and had considerably more space even though...

”Hotelli oli todella mielenkiintoinen ja massiivinen. Koska rakennus on vanha, lattiat ja huoneiden kunto oli myös sen mukainen. Siitä huolimatta sekä huone että yleiset tilat olivat viihtyisät ja erikoiset. Hotellin palvelut ja ympäristö olivat myös viihtyisät. Oma hiekkaranta oli upea.”

”Construction happening in the middle of the property so starting in the early morning and going all day all you hear is the sounds of buzz saws and hammering and construction. Also, the pool was very disappointing. Small hardly any room to walk around it very little shade and you’re not even allowed to bring snacks into the pool area. We rented three rooms and one of the rooms had hair in the shower when we got there. The pictures make it look so cute but the walkways look like they hadn’t...

”We had a nice view of the ocean from our balcony. The staff who cleaned were wonderful most staff were very kind and greeted us in yhe halls. The issue we had was the air-conditioning was not working and nothing was done. The room was so humid I could not get my hair or makeup right for the wedding we were there to attend. A staff at the front desk said to open the sliding glass door to let the night cool breeze in the problem is there is no screens and bugs can get in the room and the balcony...

”I guess my only comment was that it is very crowded. It’s been over a decade since I stayed at the hotel Del and I was literally shocked at the expanse and how incredibly crowded it was.”

”I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel, the room was basically a Jr. 1 bedroom apt with a Kitchen and living room (i did not expect that). It was very clean and tasteful and in a great neighborhood easy to walk to multiple things. The staff was also very helpful with food suggestions etc. Its a 5-10 minute to the heart of the Gaslamp as well as maybe a 10 minute walk to where the Padres play (and the waterfront). Also bonus for the $10 voucher to the cafe across the street. Would stay...
