Spring Break Delight

This was our first trip to the island. What a fun place it turned out to be! The house was perfectly located, close enough to walk to the sand, or hitch a ride in the fun golf cart. We will definitely be returning as our stay was much too short to do all we wanted to.

Christmas Family Vaca

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. It is a very clean property and having the golf cart came in handy. The pool was nice and right outside your doorstep. It is important to note the bunkbeds do have a weight limit which we were not aware of prior to booking. Not ideal for our large size teenagers but we were able to make things work.

Perfect family house

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was really clean and has a great setup for a family. House was fully stocked with everything we needed. Being right next to the pool was an added bonus and we used it everyday. Having the golf cart included was fantastic and made getting to the beach and around the area really easy and everyone loved going for rides. Property owners were great at communicating and responded to any questions in minutes. Highly recommend this house, we’ll definitely be back.

We also got to enjoy family game nights with the well stocked game closet provided. Don’t forget to bring your own sponges, spices and cooking oils..

Excellent Beach Stay

The home is beautiful and great location! We really enjoyed our time here and the communication with the management team is one of the best I’ve ever experienced with a short term rental. I also loved that everything in the house is labeled and easy to find. Some cons:The house is right above the community pool, which is only a downside if you are looking for a quieter location. It can sometimes get load if there are lots of kids in the pool.The golf cart is “included” in the stay but you do have to drive into Port A to get it and drive it 15 minutes back down the beach to get to the house. Filling it up with gas upon return is not included in the cost and is a 30 charge if you don’t carry a gas can with you. There is no covered parking and no access to the garage. The only grill available is a community charcoal grill, so make sure to bring supplies for that and also could be a wait at the grill if others are using it.Overall though, it’s a beautiful house and convenient location to the beach, Port A, and restaurants and shopping at the Cinnamon Shore development.

Lovely stay in Port A

We have stayed in other homes in the Casa Playa neighborhood of Port Aransas and I liked this one best. The home was spotless on arrival and well-constructed (other homes I have stayed in there felt flimsier somehow). The home is well-lit and the location is quiet, you don’t get noise from 361! The pool is clean and easy to share with others but was also often empty which was great! I love how this little neighborhood is less expensive but still very walkable to Cinnamon Shore amenities. Things to know: the top bunk in the bunk room has a 90 lb weight limit. The kitchen is well-stocked with equipment, plates, and glasses, etc but not cooking basics like spices. If you have mischievous teens, be aware the master is on the second floor and the guest rooms are on the ground floor. There is an alarm system but I wasn’t sure how to use it and it didn’t automatically chirp when doors opened. Thanks for a great stay!

2023 Port A

Our overall stay was very pleasant. The only problem we experienced when we arrived on Friday was with the refrigerator & freezer not working properly. The freezer was too cold and was leaking down to the refrigerator which was not cooling well. The problem seemed to have stopped but when we left on Sunday, it was doing the same thing. We had difficulty getting thru to the property manage because the answering service kept telling my husband that they couldn’t hear him. I called from a different phone number and got thru without any problem. One of the deciding factors for us on your property was that it included a golf cart in the description. We booked this in 2023, but at check in we’re told we couldn’t get the golf cart because it was booked in 2022, instead of being offered a solution. .

Port A getaway

This was one of the areas we haven't stayed yet on Port A. We loved that it was away from the noise of golf carts with music. This area at night was quiet. There was construction across from the house. So around 0800 you can hear the concrete truck, etc. The construction crew did block vehicles at times. The kitchen is well stocked, even with a coffee bean grinder, lots of toasters, very cute refrigerator. Its nice that there is a half bath off the kitchen. I don't know why but I wasn't thinking of the stairs, probably because I didn't recall reading or seeing a photo. So if you have someone in your party having issues with that. The tub on the first level has an issue with doing a bath. But I'm sure if you ask the property manager will help with it. As we had issues with remotes for the tvs and we someone knocking on the door to fix it that day. The check in information on the property will be emailed with a link, instead of a binder like most vrbo properties have. If you do get a golf cart with your reservation, you have to go to a place to pick up and drive down the beach. Something I was expected because of past properties. This one is just a little different. The community pool is outside your door. Im crazy about the beds/pillows and very pleasantly surprise that they all very comfortable. That is very hard to find when staying at different vrbos. We would definitely stay in this area again. Close to our favorite restaurant Lisabellas.

The house is perfect- we stay at Sunny Aisw every year with our kids and the grandparents all together. The house is modern but warm, perfect size, incredibly close to the beach and perfect location on the island - but the real value is the customer service. They’re amazing. Anything we need at any time, Starkey knows how to deliver world class service at every turn. We’re never renting from anyone else on Port A. We all can’t wait for next year already!

Fall Beach Trip

We had such a great time on this trip! The house is set up perfectly for two families with kids. We loved the kitchen and big dining table and the kids really enjoyed the lawn games outside on the deck. It was great having the laundry machines too! The pool is right outside the front door, and the beach a very quick golf cart ride or walk. You can even see the ocean from the top deck of the house. We loved our entire stay!

Great house in a great location.

Our first time in Port Aransas and we thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Clean and spacious house with every switch, cupboard and drawer labeled for ease. A short walk to the beach, or even shorter in the included golf cart (a perfect way to explore the area). Only 2 minor points of feedback: 1). The Wi-Fi was very intermittent and would sometimes drop completely for 10-30 minutes 2). Expect check-in details on the day of arrival, shortly before check-in time. Knowing this early on would have avoided a phone call. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Great family friendly house

We had a great time staying here! The house was beautiful and well equipped with everything we needed. The pool and golf cart rental were huge hits with our kids, and the beach access was very easy with the cart! I only wish it wasn’t so far so we could come stay more often!

Relaxing weekend away

We had a great time at Sunny Side Up! The home was light, bright, clean, and comfortable. Location was great. Community pool was quiet and great for our young kids. Can’t wait to go back!

Loved this beach house! So cute and a great location. Easy to get to the beach on the golf cart and golf cart boardwalk.
