”The vibe was so calm and relaxing. The breakfasts had a huge variety of food, and were tasty. The beds were less firm than usual Portuguese standards, but quite firm by UK standards. ”Enigma has a great location and, in my opinion, the concept of the hotel has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not quite live up to what we expected, especially considering the price we paid. The hotel is clearly in need of better maintenance. There was mould visible on some of the walls, the pool did not look particularly clean, and the spa felt quite outdated. ”The place was spotlessley clean and the breakfast was fantastic. If I had to find fault, it would only be that there were no mosquito nets on the patio doors and the bed slightly hard for my liking. Highly recommended!”
