”The food in the pub is excellent. The trout was so fresh. The staff was lovely and everyone was so friendly. And the English breakfast which was included was wonderful.
The rooms were very clean and beds so comfy. Thanks for such a great stay in a lovely village!”

”Good location. About 8mins walk into town. Very few car parking spaces in front (5) but we managed to get one. Staff were friendly but it was harder to find them than expected! Ringing the bell for attention didn’t elicit a reaction on check in or checkout and had to look for someone. Room was good size (we had room 7, called ‘Excellent’ on the website). Nice big metal bath and shower. Pretty good for the money although the toilet was very slow refilling after a flush - about five mins before it...

”A lovely B&B, quiet, simple, easy parking free of charge if you arrive around 17:00 and stay till 11 am. Very convenient.

”Great stay just after Christmas. Check-in times are limited, but it was very easy to get in following the instructions. Room and the whole hotel was really nicely furnished and decorated with good taste. Everything was clean. Breakfast was also really good with different varieties to order. Peaceful location with about 10 min walk to the city center. Can highly recommend this hotel.”

”A genuinely lovely stay! Hosts were superb. Breakfast cooked to order and arrived hot, everything tasted good. Extra treat to have fresh fruit and yoghurt. Very spacious garden flat styled in relaxed elegance with everything you could reasonably need for a short stay. We stayed 3 nights and were very happy. There are steps down to the flat, so was grateful for hosts who helped with luggage. The shower is over the bath just in case that is useful information. Beds very comfortable and...
