”We had a lovely stay at Grosvenor Villa. Richard greeted us at the door and gave us a little bit of history on the property. The room was lovely and clean with nice complimentaries stocked. The villa was about a 30 minute was to the centre, but the walk was lovely along the canal. The breakfast had a good amount of options and Richard happily made us toast and porridge if we wanted it. I would 100% recommend.”

”Perfect location, a short stroll from the centre and the Christmas market - the reason for our visit. We were welcomed and pleased to find that our room was available earlier than expected. From the outset we were made to feel very welcomed and nothing was too much trouble. Everywhere was super clean and tidy and the room was lovely and very well decorated. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again as a perfect base for enjoying Bath so will be back in summer.”

”There were four of us, with a BIT of luggage, so we took a taxi from the railway station. It's about 15 mins walk from the station to the guest house, so if you are backpaking it should not to be a problem. With heavy luggage take a taxi. We got two first floor rooms (the same floor where the reception is), I took a room looking on the miniscule yard, my friends had a street view - with a balcony! As there is double glazing, I shouldn't have worried about noise. The beds were firm enough, and...

”What a great night at the Catherine wheel. We met Debbie when we checked in and she was so warm and friendly she made everything very easy for us. The room was clean, modern and very quaint. The food was outstanding in the restaurant with a good menu selection. There were 11 of us for dinner and you could tell everything was fresh and home made the pie was especially incredible. Thank you Catherine wheel we will be back again!! ”
