”The hotel was beautiful and historical, the service was super friendly and the food was great! The spacious room was decorated in very nice and modern style, but... The carpet was dusty (or at least not cleaned/vacuum cleaned) since the previous customer, nor was it cleaned between our 2 nights stay. What was much worse; in the room there was a stark moldy smell that did not go off even as we kept the windows from both sides of the room open for 2 full days & nights. ”Absolutely fantastic place to stay. High quality room with fantastic bed, shower etc. Food was exceptionally good as were the staff, all warm friendly with very attentive service. We particularly enjoyed having drinks enjoying the views.”

”Fantastic stay at the Lansdowne. We were here on a girls trip and the Oakey cottage was a perfect home base! Easy parking right in front, 5 minute leisurely walk from shops and restaurants was amazing. Breakfast every morning was fantastic and the manager was always there kind and cheery greeting us in the morning which we enjoyed. We had a fantastic time and will definitely return in the future! ”
