”Just an great, cute little spot. Doniphan itself is a fun rural missouri town, with hiking and floating opportunities around The site itself is really nice. Theres a propane heater if it gets cold, that works great, and a portable AC to keep temps low when it gets hot. We had a small hiccup with the shower, but that was fixed quickly and the little insta hot water heater works great. ”For our 2024 girls trip, we decided to find a property near water with a hot tub. This Current River getaway was absolutely perfect and beautiful for our group this year. The house was set for a medium to larger group. Plenty of space (love the open living room), and the large deck out back was perfect for morning coffee and evenings watching the water. ”I enjoyed my stay. Centrally located. Comfortable. Well equipped kitchen except no cutting board which made meal prep a challenge. Hard to judge value since I stayed during the 2024 spring eclipse, so room rates in Doniphan were 5-10 times higher than usual. Would recommend for our of town guests”

”A great cabin in the woods! Lots of room, great water pressure. The shower is actually in the bathroom off of one of the bedrooms so if you have multi families staying it takes a little planning to use it etc. I feel like knowing that ahead of time might be helpful?. We stayed with 4 adults and 3 kiddos and had plenty of room. Communication with Ben was great he answered really quickly. Getting there was a little tricky, a little hard to see the arrows in the dark but his directions were right...

”I loved the place, it was a beautiful, peaceful view, the cottage was very clean and very well supplied. Beds were very comfortable. The only thing is they did not have propane for the grill when we wanted to make steaks, and we didn’t want to go back into town to get propane, so we use the oven. The manager did say in her property details that if we bought the propane, she wouldn’t reimburse us with the cost, which was very nice. Once we got here, we just kind of wanted to stay the cushions...
