”Overall we had an excellent stay at the Heathman, even with the lobby construction. Our king room was extra large and comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially for our baby. We used the nearby SmartPark garage (at 4th and Yamhill) for parking with no issues and ~$15/night. ”

”Great place to stay in Portland. Clean and nice room, good gym, great staff and many good restaurants near by in walking distance. Valet parking list price is a bit high, but look for hotel deal including valet for good value. Bed comfort and totally quiet air condition especially well above average. ”

”Rooms are decent but you can hear every time a door closes in another room. The toilet is very low and the lids have to be closed before you can flush and they slam each time. The restaurant is closed at night and there are very few nearby options. The checkin area is right by the sliding doors so staff have to use a space heater to keep warm. Overall I would not stay here for “pleasure “ again. ”

”The hotel is in a great location, its interior is very nice and clean. My critiques are that there wasn’t a useable desk space, they charged $35 for parking, and you have to sign up for their rewards program to use the WiFi. Otherwise a great stay! ”

”The room was small but perfect for a quick one night stay in town. It was clean, and despite other reviews about it being noisy it was pretty quiet. We did use the noise machine and that helped drown out anything. We just parked around the corner at a parking garage overnight for $14. It was $62 for valet and the staff said the lot behind was not patrolled so we opted for the garage. No issues! ”

”Nice hotel in the heart of the Pearl district downtown. Clean, modern with comfortable beed and nicely designed. I little more breakfast options in the morning would have been nice.”

”I stay there for the first time last weekend and it was absolutely perfect. Beautiful, spacious room, more toiletries than other hotels. Greeted with a complementary martini! Opening the door for me and bell hop service. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. I will be back.”

”Staff was great and super friendly. My complaints are that the room was not super clean. The bathroom sink was filthy, and you could see water stains on the shower from previous use. A lot of the walls had noticeable paint chips and the bed frames were extremely worn out and pealing. Also, although the elevator says you cannot use it without a keycard 99% of the time you could go in and press a button without scanning the card and it would work. From a safety standpoint I wasn’t a fan of that....
