”I really wanted to love this place. When I first checked in, I found it so incredibly charming. It's a cute little boutique hotel, consisting of conjoining bungalows in a courtyard, right in downtown Los Gatos. And they really leaned into the Marilyn Monroe theme, since she honeymooned there with Joe Dimaggio. The room itself was like a small studio apartment; decent-sized bedroom, a little office nook off to the side, and an entire kitchenette with a large fridge, microwave, stovetop and...

”This is one of those “get what you pay for” properties but in saying that the room was clean, spacious and besides the spot where a photo was clearly missing well maintained. ”I had an incredibly frustrating and humiliating experience at this hotel. I booked through Expedia and used the online check-in, but the front desk agent refused to look at my confirmation details and rudely claimed I was either at the wrong hotel or booked for the wrong date. The amenities and infrastructure were equally disappointing. The cellar parking was closed, making the valet...
