”We expected a bit more of this hotel. The staff was not very friendly and not flexible at all. They were very strict about not giving the room us before 3pm and not showing any empathy for us who had been awake 24 hours after a flight. The parking was also very expensive, 28$ per night. The location was good and the housekeeping did their job well. However the room was quite outdated and in a need of a proper facelift.”

”The location was great and the cafe downstairs was very good for breakfast. However, we didn’t get the room (with 2 beds) that we booked and paid for for the first night as we arrived later in the evening. Had to change rooms in the following morning with quite a lot of hassle and the staff didn’t quite do what they promised upon arrival. Also, we had couple of very big cockroaches in our bathroom that we ended up killing ourselves, which wasn’t nice. Hotel only cleans rooms every 5 days so that...

”This was the second hotel we stayed at in Hawaii and such a difference from our first. GREAT hotel. Really attentive friendly staff, rooms are wonderful. Service is amazing. There's a variety of food/drink options here. The food itself is good, one spicy dish anywhere on any menu would be incredible (but that's just personal taste). We tried a variety of different drinks with mixed results, but overall really enjoyed it all. Also, visit the hotels bakery... SO GOOD. The only slight downside to...

”This a charming and beautiful old building. The individual rooms and common spaces are inviting, and sitting on the lanai with a view of Honolulu is wonderful! The owners provide a simple but filling breakfast and a coffee station and fridge near the sleeping quarters. All staff were welcoming and receptive to questions. If you’re looking for accommodation away from the Waikiki area, or near UH, this is a great choice. We would definitely stay here again! ”
