”The home is gorgeous and literally in the center of town. Easy to walk everywhere. Caroline arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the train station and we were met by Lucy who was wonderful. She sat us down with a map of the town. She circled and labeled things she felt we shouldn’t miss as well as places I told her we had things booked for. Dinner reservations were made for us and the recriminations were great. We opted not to have a full breakfast each morning but did have croissants and coffee...

”My husband and I had an incredible stay at Chateau De Ferrand! We stayed for only one night and the room, food, wine, and hospitality were out of this world! We wish we could have stayed longer. The breakfasts each morning were incredible: fresh baked croissants and bread, fresh squeezed orange juice, eggs made to preference. The location nestled in among the vineyards was picturesque and very quiet. The total experience far exceeded our expectations and I hope we can make a return trip.”

”I stayed here with my wife to do the Saint-Emilion (wine) experience for few days during our anniversary trip. We wanted something in a walking distance for food, drinks and stuff but not being in the Saint-Emilion village center. Also the place had to have the "feeling". Clos 1906 could not have been a better discovery. This small hotel is extremely nice and recently renovated with a very good taste. The backyard with a pool is a nice hideout to chill and watch over the hills for vineyards....
