CROOKED RUN on vain kivenheiton päässä historiallisesta kylästä ja lämpöjousta, joka antoi kylälle sen nimen. Tämä viehättävä kolmen makuuhuoneen, kolmen kylpy koti on täydellinen pakopaikka Warm Springs. Nauti kävelystä ravintoloihin, gallerioihin, kylpylöihin ja vain muutaman askeleen päässä etuovesta!


Vanha maalaistalo on rakennettu vuonna 1900, ja se on täysin uusittu ja päivitetty, mutta on edelleen viihtyisä ja lämmin, jossa on alkuperäisiä parkettilattiat ja puutyöt, suuret tilavat huoneet ja upeat kannet nauttimaan Warm Springs Runin äänistä, kun se kulkee takapihan läpi. Puun varjossa istuva tuoli on täydellinen paikka lukea kirjaa tai nukkua. Kaikki kodin mukavuudet sisältyvät - WiFi, satelliitti-tv, hyvin varustettu keittiö, josta saa välipaloja ja gourmet-aterioita.


Talo on helposti saatavilla kaikenikäisille vieraille sekä liikkuvuuteen liittyville haasteille. Pääkerroksessa on olohuone, jossa on suuri taulu-tv. Olohuoneessa on suuri keittiö ja ruokailutila. Keittiössä on aamiaisbaari, johon mahtuu neljä ja ruokapöytä kuudelle. Keittiöstä on kaksi uloskäyntiä kannelle, josta on näkymät "kieroajoon". Pääkerroksessa on myös ylimääräinen makuuhuone, jossa on queen-size-vuode ja kylpyamme, jossa on kylpyamme ja suihku sekä pesutupa.

Yläkerrassa on kaksi makuuhuoneen sviittiä, Master, jossa on king-size-vuode, taulutelevisio Smart TV ja oma Juliet-parveke - loistava paikka varhain aamukahville tai cocktaileille tähtien alla. Toisessa sviitissä on queen-size-vuode. Molemmissa kylpyhuoneissa on suihkut.


Tällä erinomaisella paikalla Warm Springsin kylässä voit nauttia päivän hemmottelusta Warm Spirit Spa -hotellissa, joka sijaitsee Old Mill & Old Germantown Roadin kulmassa, jossa voit nauttia varmasti parhaasta Hot Stone -hieronnasta missä tahansa. Kadun toisella puolella on The Waterwheel -ravintola, hienostunut ravintola vuosisadan vanhassa gristmillissä, jossa on myös Simon Kentonin pubi, joka on pienin Barwealth-baari ja yksi "parhaista neljästä paikasta Virginiassa". This home was just perfect for our group. Super comfortable beds and 3 full bathrooms made it easy for 6 ladies to get showered and ready for dinner very quickly after a full day on the lake. Three of us stayed in the Charming Cottage while attending a Chamber Music weekend nearby at Garth Newel Music Center. The cottage is in a very attractive and peaceful location. The beds are comfortable. We found everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. We appreciated the reminder to bring our own linens and towels.

Crooked Run is one of my favorite rental stays, hands down. What a gem of a property in a fantastic location in Warm Springs. From Crooked Run, it's a 3-minute drive to the famous bath houses. The house is built next to a busy road, but the owners have a wonderfully maintained fenced yard where children or dogs can safely play and provide the most beautiful views for parents. The rustic-chic house interior is well-appointed and will remind you of a home in a decorating magazine. The antique furniture throughout the home is beautiful. I want to return because of the property's location and the views. Warm Springs is an outdoorsman's paradise; the valley and hills are picture-perfect. It's like a pleasant dream come true.

House was as described. It is close to the main road, so light sleepers might want to bring ear plugs (though the road was not heavily traveled at night). The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen is well appointed. Management was a pleasure to work with. Looking forward to the next visit!

The night before our stay, our son was admitted to the Children's Hospital. The next morning we contacted the property manager, Beth, to let her know we wouldn't be able to make it and to give the owner a chance to list the property and hopefully find another family to take it that weekend. Beth explained that given that it was the same day it would unlikely be rented. However, she was very compassionate and concerned about our son and generously reassured us that we could visit once he was better at no additional cost other than the cleaning fee. We are touched and impressed. Now that our son is better, we can't wait to take Beth up on the offer. What incredibly generous and considerate owners and property managers. Thank you.

The kitchen in the home is incredibly well stocked . The furniture and beds are very comfortable. The yard is fantastic and so big. We actually walked along the stream to eat at the Water Wheel restaurant and to have a hot stone massage. Both places are tops! We enjoyed the huge deck where one could be in the sun or in the shade. We ate many meals outside. We do wish there had been a gas grill; the little charcoal one in the yard was not what we needed. The only drawback is the busy road during the day. Cars drive very fast so backing out of the ample parking or walking down the road to the "town" is difficult. The location is so near the renovated Spring bath houses and we had great take-out from the Dairy cafe. The Homestead resort is just a short drive away. We recommend this vrbo!!!

This was our 2nd stay at this home. Another niece got married, and this has been our "wedding retreat!" The space is perfect for our family. Everyone has a bedroom and a bath. Very clean. Beautiful well stocked kitchen with a view of the babbling brook running across the back of the property. We enjoyed our stay very much. Only one thing that is annoying...it is a pain to bring all the linens for 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. I wish there was an option to pay a little more to rent linens. I wasnt sure we could get everything in one car with 4 people and luggage. Also the sofa in the den area is very uncomfortable. We didn't spend much time there because of wedding festivities, but it would not be a place that would be nice to sit for long. Check in and out are quick and easy.

Crooked Run was a wonderful weekend retreat, we were sorry we couldn’t stay longer! The house was sparking clean, Beth was an excellent host, check in and out a breeze. The house was well equipped and very comfortable - the kitchen was well stocked with all the pots/pans/dishes/utensils we could have wanted. We cooked at home all weekend s we have two hungry teenage boys. And from the grill to the fire pit to the stream to the short walk to warm spirit spa for a massage - the house and location were perfect. We’re already dreaming of our next trip.

The house was comfortable and clean. The back porch was relaxing with a nice view. We saw a mother deer with her offspring several times, numerous birds including Eastern Bluebirds and enjoyed the spring run on the property. The kitchen is fantastic.

The house was five minutes from the rehearsal dinner at The Inn at Warm Springs and the ceremony and reception at Oakley Farm for our son's wedding. The house was clean, comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen. The stream behind the house was great to wake up to each day. It was the perfect place for this special occasion.

Very convenient to food in the town of Warm Springs. Only about at 15 minute drive to Tomahawk Farm and the Jackson River. The home is very comfortable and homey, with all of the necessary amenities. Not to mention Warm Springs Run babbling through the back yard!
