Sorry about the disturbing odour - we wish you had reported it as we, with housekeeping were unable to locate the problem - we also could have pointed out the screened openable windows which unfortunately if you have the black out curtains closed they could not be seen Sorry about the old furniture however we prefer classic pieces to Ikea we feel it gives the room its charactor Harley

Hi Mr Aonymous, I dont suppose you considered the fact that the spa is situated on the outside deck and is set in the treetops so even though housekeeping do there darndest to make sure it is clean prior to your arrival (hence the reason we call you to try and ascertain your ETA) if it is a windy day it is nigh on impossible to keep clear of the odd leaf or 2 and just hope you understand seeing the toilet window opens to your own private deck and you.d have to get on your tippy toes to look in we never really ever considered it a problem Glad you enjoyed the shared shower Harley

Thats OK Stan but sorry you didnt think you had value for money - maybe some research next time as there is plenty of cheaper options around unfortunately they're out of town, not on the beach and dont have the lovely ambience as does The Castle however we assume this is not what you were seeking

the translation reads: Everything was in perfect. It is an exceptionally attractive accommodation ........... so I ask why only 4 out of 5

It appears we were welcoming hosts - beautiful decor - great location - close to beach and restaurants .... up to now we are 5 out of 5 - we are very particular in the preparation of our bedding and in close to 30 years of trading have never ever had anyone suggest our bedding was the cause of their allergic reaction - maybe this should have been mentioed at the time of your departure ..... alas 2 out of 5

there must have been some miscommunication as on placing our guests we prefer not to intrude as the majority of our guests prefer privacy - we are always in attendance and can be contacted by 2 paging systems, 1 in reception and 1 in the main lounge - there is reverse cycle airconditioners in all rooms which ensures our guests areas are always cosy so we are not sure as to what the problem was Harley Boyle Proprietor

sorry abour disappointment and the shower however the shower was fixed immedistely when reported - unfortunately we have not found a way to icrease the size of the rooms in winter but thank you for your comments
