”The property is indeed clean, well-supplied, and request to host for extra items answered promptly. The kitchen has some well-appreciated basic staples. Special problem for us: we three 80-year-olds found the steps and sloping alley a disadvantage, especially for the one carrying the luggage (just fine for people half our age). One caution : one room has a queen-size mattress on a double bed frame, so support is iffy.”

”Well positioned for my trip, pretty little walk along the Millstream, good communication with the owner for the few minor issues that cropped up (garbage bags, how to use the electronic door lock). Spacious apartment, great for two couples. 20 minutes or less from downtown Victoria; already on the edge of the Highlands where I was visiting. Slightly more than walking distance from lots of nice restaurants in Langford. Very pleased with the trip overall; would definitely use again.”

”This property had all you need for an overnight stay. It was not near a beach though and the property next door was logged leaving large old growth fir trees and stumps when looking out the window. Not a great view and you will need a car to get around. Never saw the owner but her dogs were outside so we couldn't put our dogs out as fencing is not adequate. For the price which is low for the island it was all you can ask for.”
