”You couldn't find a better location for this accommodation in Stanley. The room was clean, very well maintained, great location with the view of The Nut and the staff extremely helpful and kind. Would definitely stay here again!”

”Hanlon Guest House is lovely. Stayed for two nights, and location is beautiful. We walked to cafes and restaurants and to the chairlift. Also penguins viewing platform is only metres away. The housekeeping staff are warm and friendly as well. Parking at front of property is so easy, as was checking in process.”

”Lovely three nights stay at the foot of The Nut. Two nice beaches in immediate vicinity, a few restaurants and cafes in walking distance make this a perfect place for a family holiday. Nightly penguin visits by the shore. A very interesting Highfield Historic Site is worth a visit (5 mins drive), so is Dipp Falls about 40 mins drive away.”

”The room was comfortable, however the smell from the bathroom was very bad. The staff attended to this promptly by cleaning the drain and offered us another room. All staff were very friendly and helpful in providing local information regarding our travel plans.”

”Greeted on our arrival by the lovely hosts Rebecca and Shaun. Rooms were amassing. We were in the Belvedere Room - it was presented beautifully! Spacious, lovely view out to the bay, luxurious touches, fantastic shower, comfortable bed and delicious hot breakfast prepared for us. Walking distance to restaurants, penguins and shops. Couldn't fault it. Highly recommend”

”Spent two nights here. Very convenient to The Nut and penguins. Property was very comfortable and clean. Unfortunately there was no working internet at the time. The view was excellent also.”

”Was well set up, especially the kitchen, so we were able to cook a nice steak. We were allocated a spa bath, but as I have a mobility problem, I opted for a ‘bird bath’. Lots of room &. plenty of blankets.”

”The property has the most wonderful views from its elevated position. The driveway is steep - but worth it. Imagine beautiful sunsets in front of a roaring fire on the deck in autumn - that’s what we got. (Not sure if the owners arranged the sunsets, but the fire & indoor wood burner were ready to light.) Kitchen was stocked with choice of cereals plus milk & juice for breakfast plus other nice touches. There were many appliances & cookware options and a BBQ to boot. Bathroom & kitchen...

”First impression needs to be improved (weeds in front yard, rot on posts, pealing paint). Home has a lot of charm but furnishings could be updated. Would be a good space for family who don't mind an outdated feel.”
