”We had a very enjoyable stay at the Talisker Lodge. We stayed over the Christmas holiday. It felt so cosy… we enjoyed the log burner & loved how it was located in the woods. We saw lots of woodland wildlife inc a red squirrel & woodpeckers. The property encourages you to feed the wildlife. We arrived to a bucket of nuts & a bag of fat balls. We went out to buy more fatballs as the birds soon got through them. We really enjoyed watching all the birds & the squirrel that came. We’d love to return...

”The basic setup here is fantastic. Really well situated, and at a point in the past the property was clearly set up to be ideal. Since then it looks like things have begun to run down in the way that any short term let always does eventually. Things to keep an eye out for: Every knife and utensil has a better than 50/50 chance of being blunt or broken.
