”We loved the location, the views, and the double glazing. It stayed nice and warm during a wild storm. The deck was awesome. The library of books and magazines fascinating, and lots of board games and cards. However it is lacking a level of cleanliness in the kitchen. There was food left in the oven, dirty tea towels left behind, and the washing up gear and cleaning cloths need to be updated. Small things but good to have.”

”The room was spacious and charming, with a heated bed that made our stay extra cozy. The amenities were just right, and we really appreciated the fresh milk provided. The kitchen area was clean, and the location was fantastic. Overall, a lovely place to stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience!”

”We stayed 1 night, we were passing through (off season). Few guests, all quiet, morning breakfast alright, price was fair. Shower and restrooms adequate with soap and plenty of hot water, towels provided in good condition. The only issue i had was that this lodge was very far from the road, up a gravel road with no guard rails at all. Either it was not disclosed or i didnt find it on the website. Very scary getting up to the lodge after sunset, in the dark, dodging rabbits left and right.”

”This is a modern, well equipped cottage. Our host, Janette, was friendly and informative. The property is small farm with wandering chooks and even a couple of guinea fowl. It's conveniently located - only 6km from Oxford. There is a great woodburner fire for the cool weather. The extremely well equipped kitchen means self catering is very easy.”
