”Great spot to stay. Lovely to have the castle grounds to wander around after hours. We really enjoyed our stay in a deluxe double room overlooking the gardens. So much to see and do in the castle and castle grounds and lovely walks with a great view of the castle. We ate in the Castle View Restaurant in the evening and enjoyed our meal. Breakfast was also good. Reception staff so welcoming and explained everything brilliantly. ”

”Nice two nights stay in a very good location. I especially loved the bathroom as it was spacious and with a view to the East Hill. The stairs are tricky if you have a large suitcase, but I got wonderful service and mine was taken down for me. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from within 500 m. The buses to the railway station run 200 m from the door so that’s also nice. ”
