”My wife and I stayed here to get away for a little bit and celebrate her birthday. What a wonderful place to get away too! It's a little walk to the lake, but it's still a really nice view of the lake and wonderful property (with lots of windows). It was hot so we enjoyed the air conditioning. My wife read as many books as she could in the comfy furniture while enjoying the view and I enjoyed hiking the magical trails and kayaking with the Koi fish in the lake. I would definitely recommend this...

”We were looking for a place to stay for one night, and this worked out fine. The location was great for getting to IUP. Definitely a bare bones kind of place, no napkins or even paper towels. No shampoos or soaps, and half of the light bulbs did not work. The traffic noise was very loud with the air conditioning units still in the windows. But it was pretty clean and we only needed a place to sleep.”

”What a lovely house! The 3 of us came in just to visit Punxsutawney and fell in love with Smicksburg! We enjoyed our stay here so much and would definitely return. The check in was simple and parking in the back worked out great. The kitchen is enormous, stocked with plenty of utensils/dishes, soap, plastic wrap, salt/pepper shakers.
