We arrived in the early evening. And even though we requesred a room with easy access due to my wife having limited mobility. But we were placed in a room at least 100 yards from the parkingarea. Also there was a lot of litter everywhere! Styrofoam food containers all over and a couple beer cans and a few empty Newport cigarette packs on the ground....
Thr room was way outdated. A pleather love seat. Not leather, but a very old naugahide ,(sp?). Not even a couch! And look very very carefully at the pic on the website of the pool. A slick realtor would be proud of the deceptive pics. The pool is barely bigger than an inflatable kiddie pool!
The round bed mattress was way worn out!
I sat on it and sunk maybe 4 inches down into it!
We were in the room for all of fove minutes before we called the front desk.
I told the front desk that we were very disappointed in the condition of the unit. I asked if we could get a refund.
The ONLY positive thing was the very nice woman at the main desk agreed to give us a 100% refund. She said she would get the night audit person to issue it when they arrived at midnight. The next morning i received an email confirming the refund.
We spend a grand total of maybe 15 minutes there after a seven hour drive to get there.
The wife wanted to go there for our 35th wedding anniversary, ( we went here 35 years ago for our honeymoon/ ski trip.)
Please save your time and especially your hard earned money and stay far away from there.
