”All the staff I encountered were really great--super cool and conversational, but the room was a real disappointment. I walked through the door and walked into a wall of stench. It smelled like wet dogs had vacationed in the room. I usually sleep like a rock, but the stink kept me awake for a while. The shower was also not clean. ”

”I had a great two night stay here. It was so great to have something different - this felt very homey. Bed and pillows were excellent!
It was a tad too hot the first evening as I assume the AC was not turned on during the day of arrival. It did cool down for the rest of the stay.
It was quiet place, great location and the lady at the reception was lovely! I should have stayed longer!”

The rooms, for the most part, are from another era (it used to be the county "poor farm"), but the grounds are spectacular, the heated outdoor pool is stunning at night. ”The listing clearly stated free breakfast with the room and is one of the reasons why I chose the property to put up family after their arrival the night before.
Instead of free breakfast they were greeted with a $16 pay here before entering the continental breakfast area. Definitely not free and surely not worth $16 for some prepackaged pastries and over ripe fruit, fake sausage, and make your own waffle with expired fermented batter.
