The...

”I was offered an upgrade from a classic double to a feature double (for an extra £30pn) which I took. It was in the old part of the hotel. The room was very cold as the radiators were not working. I enquired at reception and was told that they would speak to someone to see if it could be sorted. A little while later an electric heater was delivered to the room which did not work and another was requested. This only managed to heat the bedroom while the bathroom remained cold. The window next to...

”Good place for a couple, great position in the countryside but not too far from a pub and train station (20 minute walk). However cooking was a challenge: the kitchen is very sparsely equipped, there are 2 mugs, glasses, bowls, a few more plates, but that’s it. Barely any utensils ( unless you like mash, 2 potato mashers), and nothing you could use in the oven.
