”Not bad, typical hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had to contact the desk right after check-in to have the sheets changed. Found hair and what appeared to be melted cheese on the sheets. They came right away and changed them and said they had recently hired some young people who were not very observant and apologized for the inconvenience. ”

”I checked out the three hot tubs while I was there. Two of the tubs had obviously not been maintained for a while. The water was cloudy and gave off a very unpleasant odor. The third tub was mostly empty of water. No soaking for me. The TV was somehow fixed at a certain volume, which I wanted to lower but could not. The mute button was also deactivated. Very frustrating!”

”Was there during remodeling of something, took me a minute to find out where I had to check in. Walls in the room were really dirty and banged up but everything else was clean. I had to go thru a process and register to connect my lap to wifi. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was 15$ but you got it back in discounts and Freeplay.”

”This is a great older property on the highway as you come into Lead from Deadwood. I used to live in town so .camilair with the property and it's history. They have cabins and rooms. We stayed in a room. It was roomy even with a King size bed, plus had a loveseat, tall dinette, dresser, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Pet friendly property. They are in the process of remodeling the rooms/cabins and other buildings (4/2026), and are adding a fenced-in dog area. There is also a covered...
