”Clean, comfortable, great amenities. The beds and linens were very comfortable. We do a lot of our own cooking and found the kitchen to be well equipped for our needs. We enjoyed taking in the views from the front porch and picking fresh blueberries in the fields behind the cottage. We found the tv hard to see from across the living room but solved the problem by moving the couch closer to the tv. We also hiked every day. The trails were fabulous. A great stay”

”This was a lovely property in a great location. The host communicated very well and check-in and check-out were easy. There is a great view from the house over the town of Crow Head and out to the ocean. There is a lovely coffee house, the Crow's Nest Cafe, about a minute away. The Long Point Lighthouse is only a few minutes away with an interesting history and great views over the water. Twillingate is also only a few minutes drive, with lots of interesting artists' studios and nice...

Grandma's House has been very thoughtfully kitted-out with all the comforts and amenities you'd forget to ask for but that make such a big difference when you're travelling. This was a working trip and we'd not been able to find a spot handier to our field site that could accommodate our team of three - this corner of the Island is a busy one vacation season! I wish I had read the reviews more carefully because there is not enough in the description about the stairs. From the parking down to the house are approximately 25 stairs. These are wide and well lit at night and totally fine for people with totally fine knees. For us, getting our luggage up and down them...
