”Visited on Monday 15 June. No staff to check in, just a door bell to security they then let you in to get your key from a key safe inside. No dinner or bar on Monday nights so went to the pub over the road.
Double Room petite and bijou but adequate.
Left before breakfast so did not speak to any staff during our stay!!!!
On our previous visit we did have a very nice breakfast.
Recommend it but don’t expect to be pampered, more like an Air B&B at least on a Monday or Tuesday.”

”The rooms are beautifully presented and the amenities were really nice. For a travel stop it was very convenient and the staff are friendly.
The carpets in the rooms are suffering from wear and tear and could do with a better clean. The rooms needs a bit more of a clean in general. The shower also started dripping in both rooms (which were at other ends of the property) at around 3am which woke us up. We found it a bit strange to be put in rooms in completely different buildings despite...

”There was no air conditioning, and the room was extremely hot and stuffy. A member of staff told us they would provide an additional fan, so we went to reception to ask. We were told a fan would be sent to our room, but after waiting over an hour nothing arrived. When we returned to reception, we were then told that no fans were available.
We were also not given any information about breakfast, including where it was served or the opening and closing times.

”The historic building is simply beautiful, very charming, and well-restored. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was well-equipped. The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow. The food was rather mediocre. Breakfast was actually quite poor. There was barely a tablespoon of yogurt with the granola, and the toast was cold and hard like rusk. The location itself is beautiful.”
