”The hotel is under some kind of construction. When we arrived we were informed for that the elevator was broken, the ice machine was broken, we had no hot water in our shower, and the building was in poor condition. What we paid for this stay was robbery. The only reason this hotel kept Our business is because there's nothing else near. Avoid this place if you can.”

”This is a great property, and I would have given it 5 stars is the valet situation wasn’t as absurd as it was. The entire front parking lot is reserved for valet only leaving only a few parking spots on the side of the hotel and street parking. During our stay, only 2 or 3 people utilized valet for their stay. Perhaps it was busier when the restaurant was open. Hotel patrons should not have to park down the street. Compass is nice, but it’s not the Ritz - it’s more like an upscale Holiday...

”the heater was very loud and made it difficult to sleep as it was in a closet in the bedroom area. The door to the shower would not close and flooded the bathroom. The tv in the bedroom had no sound and the ice maker did not work. I reported all this to the front desk clerk . She was very nice , wrote it all down and pretty much explained they were aware of these issues. No compensation was offered.”

”Disappointed the beach bar was not open yet and there were no lounge chairs avaliable yet for the beach. We enjoyed the inside bar in the evening. The staff were all very nice. The hotel was overall nice and clean. ”

”Staff were very helpful and friendly. But the facility is the worst. Our door wouldn't shut without us slamming it. And then we got stuck in our room and had to call for help to get out. It's a death trap, at least our room was. ”
