  • Kaunis koti Inisowenin niemimaalla Irlannissa, näkymällä Culdaffin lahdelle ja sijoitettu Inisowen 100: lle luonnonkaunis tie, vain lyhyen ajomatkan päässä Irlannin pohjoisimmasta pisteestä (Malin Head) upeilla ravintoloilla ja musiikkipaikoilla lähellä (mukaan lukien kuuluisa McGrory's of Culdaff). Koti on täynnä luonnetta ja upeat näkymät Culdaffin rannalle, Bunagee Pier, Inishtrahull saari, paikalliset pääntulit ja upeat maisemat kukkuloilla. Se on erinomainen paikka kävelee, pyöräilyä, surffausta, melontaa, veneilyä, kalastusta (joki ja merenkulku), ratsastusta, historiallisia ja arkeologisia kohteita. Koti on myös lyhyen ajomatkan päässä kansainvälisesti arvostetusta Ballyliffin Golf Clubista, joka on 2018 Irish Openin koti. Neljä kahden hengen huoneen talossa on avoin keittiö / ruokailutila olohuone, jossa on sähköinen AGA, päävastaanotto, älykäs tv, piano, äänijärjestelmä ja avotulit päävastaanottohuoneissa. Siellä on erillinen toimisto ja Wi-Fi koko talossa. Yksi kahden hengen huoneista sijaitsee pohjakerroksessa ja kolme muuta (yksi kylpyhuone ja erillinen kylpyhuone) ovat yläkerrassa. Amazing Get-away!

To me, this is the perfect vacation property. The cottage itself is modern but homey with a fantastic kitchen and living space. The grounds are beautiful and the surrounding countryside is spectacular. We were able to do several day trips to see various sights in the northern part of the country. I would highly recommend this location for someone looking for a relaxing spot away from the tourist hordes.

Gorgeous coastal home from home

This house is a home from home because it's been done with warmth and thought to a level you rarely find in holiday rentals. It really does feel like a home, with every comfort you can think of and then some. Neither photos nor reviews can do justice to how lovely a place this and its location looking out over the coast. You just have to experience it. Enjoy.

Stinking home and view

We had a wonderful time. The house and location were even better than the online photos showed. The view, especially at sunset was spectacular. We coul s not be happier with our stay and Angela was a remarkable host. We highly recommend this location for those who appreciate a stunning view in a very private location. The town is very small and welcoming and the food at McGrory’s was the best meal we had! We can’t wait to come back.

Excellent with lots of things to do

We loved our stay in Culdaff. We swam, we hiked, we ate well and had so much fun at Simpson’s Bar and McGrory’s Pub. The house was exceptionally cosy, lovely and so comfortable with an absolutely amazing view and an open fire for colder nights. We enjoyed exceptional sunsets with a glass of vine and a lovely meal in this wonderful house. Thank you Gertrude and thank you Margaret.

ALWAYS an EXCELLENT choice

We, unfortunately, had to cancel this trip as a member of our travel party was experiencing a medical emergency. We hope to rebook some time in September. However, We stayed at this property two 1/2 years ago with our now adult children. This property was BEAUTIFUL and everything it was advertised to be! Accommodations were EXCELLENT. We had tasty scones waiting for us when we arrived. The nearby town of Culdaff was wonderful. If you want a great meal, be sure to visit The Butterbean! We will always choose this beautiful VRBO!

Exceptional place!

DunGlas is an absolutely stunning home and property. Walking distance to the gorgeous beaches of Culdaff and McGrory’s pub. A blissful place to return to after exploring the Inishoen peninsula. I can’t recommend it highly enough. We were sad to leave. Thank you Angela for sharing this exquisite piece of paradise with us.

Best VRBO!

This was the best VRBO our family has ever experienced.! The home is so spacious, well-appointed and comfortable. The kitchen was extraordinarily well-equipped. The music selection and sound system were wonderful. Our family enjoyed walking and sitting by the beach. We loved exploring ruins on the peninsula and climbing the rocks at Malin Point. Angela and Gertrude were very gracious and responsive. Highly recommend this property!

Stunning place

We have never stayed in a more beautiful and comfortable holiday home. From beginning to end our experience was wonderful. Gertrude our host was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The house was spacious, light, beautifully appointed and had absolutely everything you needed - the kitchen in particular was brilliantly equipped. And the setting was glorious, a stone's throw from a lovely beach with great waves at times. We will most definitely be back.

Fantastic host, house, and location.

Our group consisted of four adults - my wife and I and our adult children. This property is fantastic; we had lots of room to spread out, or be together, whichever we preferred at the time. We didn't get to meet Angela, but Gertrude was great. She met us at the property to give us a quick tour, and was readily accessible throughout our stay. She was great. And the house is fantastic. Fully appointed and very nicely decorated, too. Reminds me of places we see on the TV show Escape to the Country. As does the location; spent quite a bit of time just looking out the windows admiring the view. Would definitely stay here again, and hope to do so.

Unforgettable vacation home

The online pictures do not convey how incredible and spectacular this home is. You have to experience it for yourself. Inside was bright, airy, and inspiring. Large windows overlooking wide skies and blue sea. At night you could hear the waves in the distance. There are two twin beds now in one of the rooms that appeared to only have one bed in the picture; great for families. My children loved running around in the nicely sized yard; very few cars ever went by. It was a short distance to the beach and town. Great for travelers looking to be away from the crowded tourist spots, or for someone seeking to recharge in a place of peace, quiet, and inspiration. Our family also enjoyed being near the Wild alpaca way, Malin Head, Mamore Gap, and beaches. We very much hope to come back one day!

Just book it! You'll love it.

We stayed here for a week in July- family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids 16,14, 8), plus one visitor for a few nights. Plenty of room for all. The cottage is even more beautiful than what you see in the photos. Everything you need and beyond. Sometimes I would just sit by the fire and look around at how beautiful the home is. Angela's sister Gertrude made sure that we were happily checked in and showed us around the place. The property is gorgeous and has lots of room for kids to run and play. The beach!! A short walk down a relatively quiet road. It's all sand and shallow swimming -perfect for kids who just want to explore the little pools in the rocks and play in the shallows, and you can go for a nice swim too if you want to venture out further. We saw lots of kids surfing. The location on the Inishowen Peninsula is remote and quiet, but not too far from towns where you can get some food and wander. Try Nancy's Barn for food - reservation needed. We only left to go to the Giant's Causeway (really fun to take the ferry), otherwise we were occupied by all the stunning places to see on the peninsula itself. Highlights were Malin Head walk and a "raised beach" nearby that is all round rocks and nice swimming, the Wild Alpaca way, Five Finger Strand (don't swim there!, but go for the dunes and to watch the wild sea), and Inishowen Head Loop. My kids want me to mention that there is a spinning chair on the second floor that they loved. I'd also put in a good word for the bathtub!

This house is even more wonderful than the listing can capture. It was very cozy, with amazing views. There is everything you need to fell right at home. Angela left a wonderful welcome gift. She provided recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. We went to several of these recommendations and they were all amazing and unique. Angela was very responsive a very gracious host and we defintitely hope to stay again.

We loved our week in Culdaff. The house was warm and comfortable. We enjoyed all the facilities and staying in somewhere that felt like a home with interesting books, art and decorations. We couldn’t fault our stay and Angela and Gertrude were very helpful.

Stunning property, beautiful surroundings, spectacular views, friendly people, Sandy beaches, great local pub and local shop. Great location to explore the area. Cannot recommend this place enough and we cannot wait to return. Thanks for an amazing stay.

From word go on stepping inside the property was nothing short of perfect (and some) both Angela and Gertrude greeted us with warm smiles and made us feel very welcome and comfortable immediately. It was home from home in a truly stunning setting with the added bonus of fantastic weather. To be honest if the weather was not as good as it was we still would have been happy, the house will just wrap itself around you and make you very happy to be indoors. Everything about the place is of very high quality even down to tiny details. The seating /sofa's in the rooms are extremely comfy and really well thought and laid out for relaxing socialising giving everyone space to be together or apart so as not be on top of each other. Very spacious. The beds and pillows were 10 out of 10, towels bathroom stuffs all exellent. The house has a lot of soul with fantastic books, music (grand piano) art and brilliant kitchen utensils. Angela the owner has really great taste, literature and art, culture hence the vibe of the house. I lost count of the number of time I took note (I must get this for my house) I could go on and on. We as a family have made some truly wonderful memories holidaying in Dun Glas ,Culdaff and will be returning without a doubt!! The most relaxing holiday I think I've ever had. Honestly! This house is a hidden gem ! From the stunning art work to the grand piano. It’s spotless and spacious and had absolutely everything we needed as a family of 5. Angela & Gertrude couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome and the homemade brown bread was a lovely touch. Beautiful sea views, a walk to the beach, and accessible to all the local sites. We had a wonderful stay 5 out 5. Would highly recommend.

Top of the range leisurely break

The property was in immaculate condition, spotless Bedrooms large, bedlinen, clean and crisp All amenities in kitchen provided for front room spacious and decorated with taste reading material and top quality ceramics , beautiful paintings a joy to behold.

A fabulous home in a beautiful spot!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and well-located property. The view of the coast is great with only a short walk to a long beautiful clean beach ideal for a morning run or a splash in the sea. The house has a great collection of art, books and music so you can fully immerse yourself in Irish culture. Spacious with two living rooms, which is ideal for mixed groups. Great family room with cosy lounge space open to the kitchen/ dining area. Separate drawing room with good sound system and open fire, which we retired to in the evenings after dinner. Plus lovely gracious hosts, we couldn’t recommend highly enough!

Wonderful place to isolate in

This house makes you feel instantly at home. The personal and friendly welcome, easy communication, wonderful views and easy walking distance to the beach, a well equipped kitchen, tasteful and interesting decor, outdoor games and furniture, and even a lovely piano, in tune, meant the change in travel guidance by the Irish gvt didn’t impact our week at all adversely. We had a wonderful time, thank you Gertrude and Angela.
