Ostin juuri tämän kodin, joka oli listattu VRBO: lla ennen 30 + 5-tähden arvosteluilla. Se listautui päivityksiin ja uuden hallinnon alaisena.

Maakodissamme on yhteensä 5 makuuhuonetta ja nukkuu 10 mukavasti. Päätasolla on 3 makuuhuonetta, joissa yksi parisänky ja 4 erillistä vuodetta. Alemmalla tasolla on 2 makuuhuonetta, joissa 2 queen beds. Suuri päivitetty keittiö päätasolla, johon mahtuu 11 aikuista ja 4 lasta! Alemmalla tasolla on myös erillinen olohuone keittokomeroilla. Täydellinen jaettu mutta vierekkäinen tila 2 perheelle tai suurelle ryhmälle, jotka matkustavat yhdessä. Alemmalla tasolla on myös erillinen toimisto / kuntosali, Golden Tee-kone, foosball-pöytä, painopenkki ja elliptinen kone. Koti on täydellinen loma, jos haluat rauhaa ja hiljaisuutta maassa kaikilla mahdollisilla mukavuuksilla, jotka tarjoavat täydellisen mukavuuden. Suuri kansi talon takana avautuu laajalle 7 hehtaarin maa-alueelle, jossa on hedelmä- ja pähkinäpuita, kaloilla varustettu lampi ja hiljattain lisätty yksityinen maa-altaassa

  • Final resting place for Brother Joseph, who created the art that is known as Ave Maria Grotto.This is a cemetery of only monks in residence at St. Bernard Abbey. Ave Maria Grotto, in Cullman, Alabama, is a landscaped, 4-acre park in an old quarry on the grounds of St. Bernard Abbey, providing a garden setting for 125 miniature reproductions of some of the most famous religious structures of the world. It was added to the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage on February 24, 1976, and to the National Register of Historic Places on January 19, 1984. The stone and concrete models are the work of Brother Joseph Zoettl, a Benedictine monk of St. Bernard's Abbey, who devoted some 50 years to the project, the last three decades (1932 to 1961) almost without interruption. They incorporate discarded building supplies, bricks, marbles, tiles, pipes, sea shells, marbles, plastic animals, costume jewellery, toilet bowl floats and cold cream jars. Born in 1878 in the Kingdom of Bavaria, Brother Joseph was maimed in an accident that left him slightly hunched due to cervical kyphosis. He immigrated to the United States as a teenager, settling in northern Alabama. Soon afterward he began studying at the newly founded Benedictine monastery of St. Bernard, where he took his vows in 1897. Br. Joseph was not allowed to be ordained as a priest, due to the rule of the period that stated any man with a distracting disability could not be ordained a priest. He ran the monastery’s power plant and was, even by a monk's standards, a withdrawn, quiet man. Brother Joseph rarely left Alabama, where he died in 1961.

Like Coming Home…

My Husband and I have spent the last six years renting from VRBO in pre-retirement planning. From Florida, to the Carolina’s, and Alabama.This is the only property that we continue to return to. This was our seventh visit, and we have already planned our fifth visit for Thanksgiving 2025.We feel like Family when we stay with Jorge. He is the most hard working person we have ever met, and yet he is always available and responsive to the smallest of requests.The house is awesome. It is immaculately clean. The kitchen has all we have ever needed. We spend the majority of our time on the back deck, surrounded by nature and quiet. The real crown jewel of this property is the total package. This is country living. Quiet and gentle. Fifteen (15) minutes from infrastructure (Publix & Restaurants). It is an amazing “get-away”.I highly recommend this property.

The house was great. The property owner was quick to respond to questions. The pool was fantastic! The neighbor kitty "Sonia" hung out with us on the porch. The house was fully stocked with everything needed to prepare our meals. It was home away from home!

Perfect for our family reunion!

This beautiful home was a wonderful spot for our families from different states to gather. Plenty of room for everyone and a terrific amount of outdoor space for the kids to run and play as well as a wonderful private pool for cooling off. Great distance from Ave Maria Grotto as well as Cathedral Caverns for some fun outings. The property manager Jorge was very attentive and quick to respond. We may just have to visit again next year! This home is a gem!

Girls weekend

This was a middle point to meet up with some close friends to lay around the pool. We couldn’t have asked for better weather for the pool. It was a spacious house with plenty of places for everyone to sleep. The kitchen was big and had lots of cooking items when we needed it. We spent a lot of time laughing on the back porch. Spacious and Secluded

This is a large beautiful home and lot. The private swimming pool is amazing and very clean. The yard its on is beautiful! We would definitely stay there again. The owner was great ti answer all of our questions quickly and even checked on us after there was a bad storm as well as sending someone to get the storm leaves out of the pool. You will love this home!!!
