”We stayed 3 nights and McKenzie made us feel right at home. She gave advice on restaurants and other need-to-know items when we checked in. Coffee and breakfasts were greatly appreciated and always right at the time promised. All furniture in the common room and outside was very comfortable as was the bed in our room. Thisnis a lovely property. Highly recommend Dakota Dream for anyone traveling to the Custer area!”

”Restaurants very close. We walked. Room is great for 2 people. 2 kids could sleep on the pullout couch. Appreciated the smart tv. There is a hair dryer . No laundry. Base camp is a good name for it. A place to flop after a day outside. Nice mattress. Beautiful murals on doors. I felt safe as it was right next to a bank and I noticed a police car in adjacent parking lot. ”

”Our family stayed in this cabin for a week and absolutely loved it. We knew what to expect with well water, so not a problem. It was perfect for the four of us. The owner was even nice enough to come by and check on us. We would definitely stay here again if ever in Custer in the future.”

”My daughter and I loved this cabin. The back porch and view of the spires was amazing. We had deer to watch in the field every night and morning. The bed was super comfy. We stayed in 4 different vrbo’s this trip and I slept the best here. The kitchen had everything I needed. Internet was ok. We were able to watch movies on Tubi, but if we hooked our phones up to it nothing worked. I didn't mind unplugging for a few days. This was our second trip to Custer park. ”This was a perfect place to stay. So special, unique, and peaceful. Wonderful location not too far from downtown. The breakfast was delicious. The margarita machine was always such a treat to come back to at night. It was fun playing pool to wind down. Wifi worked perfectly. The management/ staff were very nice and extremely responsive. Rooms and common areas were furnished beautifully. You can tell someone's heart and soul went into making this hotel.I will be coming back!”

We were here with grandchildren who enjoyed everything from the board games, the rustic outdoor firepit, cooking and eating on the deck, and watching tv on the sofa. The shower was very good water pressure and hot water lasted adequately for 4 people”
