Great, Relaxing Thanksgiving at Cabin

Our family had a great and relaxing time at this cabin during Thanksgiving week. The views of nearby mountains are spectacular, perhaps among the best in Dahlonega. It backs up to the national forest, and we saw deer in the mornings. The cabin is well-appointed and in a quiet area – it feels as if one is away from everything yet Downtown Dahlonega is but minutes away. The owner is very responsive. When we arrived, we found the refrigerator's freezer frozen up and not working properly, and the owner immediately sent a repairman to fix the issue. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and may return one day.

Our family of four including two ten year olds had a fantastic stay at this cabin. Everything was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the grill, deck and fireplace. There were even extra supplies just incase you needed them.

Doesn't get better for Dahlonega stay!

My wife and I were travelling with our two kids (3 and 9 months) my parents and brother. The cabin is large enough that each person can be in their own "space" without annoying or interfering with another. The view on the back patio was amazing from both on the patio as well the large living room. The cabin is 15 minutes away from Dahlonega and 10 minutes away from Woody Gap (a great hiking trail that's north of town), which was the IDEAL location. If we're ever back in Dahlonega, we will be returning to this location.

Christmas trip

Great location. Clean and tidy with all kitchen equipment we needed. Listing was incorrect as there was no washer or dryer. Contact with the host-took it out due to issues. We had packed light and didn’t have clothing for the entire trip but there was a Walmart near so we purchased what we needed. Weather was bad and never could get the wifi to work but used our own hot spot. This place did have amazing views and sunrises.

Beautiful, relaxing and very homey!!!!!

When we entered the cabin, it made us instantly feel at home. The cabin was very spacious and for the first time in all of the years renting cabins in North Georgia, this kitchen was WELL stocked with everything you would need down to the measuring spoons!! The views sitting on the couch or the deck were absolutely amazing. We loved being warmed by the fireplace (wood is supplied!) and taking in all the beauty of the cabin and the mountain views. The location of the cabin is close to Dahlonega, Helen, Cleveland and several other interesting towns. We all truly enjoyed our time at this cabin!!!!! The few questions I had were answered very quickly by owners. When leaving our medicines were forgotten in the bedroom. The owners contacted us immediately upon finding them and went above and beyond to make sure we received them as soon as possible.

Great Views, Great Place!

This is one of those times when you don't want to leave a glowing review because the place is perfect you want to keep it all for yourself!! The view was what captured my attention to give it a try, and I'm so glad we did! We had a wonderful stay; the house was perfect, well appointed, and so homey! This was the cleanest and best place we've ever stayed in when visiting the area. The kitchen was huge and well stocked for my needs. There is a wood burning fireplace, wood provided, that I would have loved to use but it was too warm. The view from the deck was amazing and if the weather had been better, we would have spent the mornings sitting out there with our coffee and evenings eating dinner on the screened porch! This place was perfect for our stay to plan several hikes in the area and close enough to the quaint town of Dahlonega for walks around the square. The owners are super to deal with as well with great communication throughout. After returning home, I couldn't find my earbuds and thought I had left them at the cabin. I contacted the owners, and they were super helpful having the housekeeper check and keeping me updated. This will now be our go to place when visiting the North Georgia Mountains! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home!!

WHAT A VIEW from the deck of this comfy mountain cabin! Four of us stayed here for and absolutely loved our time at the Home. We were greeted by a magnificent sunrise over the mountains each morning. Our host was great at communicating answers to any questions we had, and the home was clean and so so comfortable! The kitchen had everything we needed to fix breakfast each morning, and we would usually venture the 10 minutes into Dahlonega for dinner. Parking here was easy with a large space. A LOT of available sitting room in the living room, on the deck, and at dining table. Quiet place to relax and recharge.

Would definitely stay again

Had a wonderful stay, the last week of December 2021. The weather was dreary so we really didn’t get to enjoy the view, but still had a great and cozy time. The description of the property was very accurate. We had one minor maintenance issue that was responded to rapidly. For most people I think the bedding would be very comfortable, I have some sleeping issues and prefer a softer mattress, but I was able to make it work. Overall, the property was fantastic. Jon and Michelle were very responsive. We would definitely stay again and the area is beautiful and has lots to do.

Motorcycle Trip

Great house with amazing views. Convenient to town. As advertised, the roads at the bottom of the driveway are perfect for bikes and sport cars. House is laid out well with a big kitchen. Will definitely be back. We had a great time here.

Beautiful View

The house layout was perfect for our family. Plenty of space to lounge and relax and the screened in porch with views of Yonah Mtn was the favorite gathering spot. It’s an older home that has squeaks and creaks that add character. The only noises were the acorns falling, the birds singing, and the owls hooting. At times the silence was deafening. Needless to say we enjoyed our stay very much.

Great Wine Country

Property need work. There was too much of the owners belonging everywhere. The location of the home was good. The house needs a lot of cleaning. Light switches were taped over and some lights didn’t work.

Spectacular view

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. The cabin is so comfortable and cozy. It is convenient to the town and wineries. The rain didn’t even bother us because we had the wonderful porch to retreat to and soak in the Mountain View. Plan to return again!

Awesome view!

We really enjoyed the location of this property and the VIEW... it’s amazing!!! We also loved that the driveway was flat and easily accessible from the road. The road is a little curvy, but not bad at all! The property owners made sure the cabin was well stocked with anything one could possibly need. They even had extra coffee supplies, seasonings, soap, shampoo, detergent, etc. It was like we were at home. This is definitely not the norm for anywhere we’ve ever stayed. We will definitely be back!

Great cabin!

This was a fabulous vacation! Two friends, my daughter, and I spent a long weekend in this cabin. We really wanted to visit the Hallmark movie town, and it did not disappoint. The view from the cabin is amazing. We even had some deer in the backyard one morning. We hiked to Preachers Rock, and I highly recommend that. The town of Dahlonega is so cute, and we enjoyed several of the wine tasting rooms. The cabin had plenty of room for the four of us. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a great cabin, clean, roomy, well equipped and oh yes the spectacular views.

It was one of our best stays in the dahlonega area. We loved it

Beautiful Mountain Home!

We enjoyed the beautiful mountain views tremendously. This place was a slice of heaven and the owners wonderfully helpful. We could not have enjoyed ourselves more!
