"NEW LISTING, EXPERIENCED SUPERHOST" Welcome to The Prescott, a stylish, super spacious retreat just two blocks from trendy South Highland Park and some of Dallas' most acclaimed eateries and shops. This historical Tudor sits in a charming, family-friendly, wonderfully walkable neighborhood and features a fully stocked kitchen, dining & living rooms, 2 large bedrooms, 2 full baths, plus a work space. Enjoy decorator details throughout and quick and easy access to the airport and Downtown Dallas.

The Prescott is a stylish, roomy, carefully curated space in "SoHip" (South Highland Park) you'll be delighted to call home for a few magical days. At almost 2,000 square feet, your friends and family can spread out and relax while enjoying the best that Dallas has to offer. We have three other units in this building, so please reach out if this one is unavailable for your dates, or if you would like to reserve all four for an upcoming family or business retreat.

The primary bedroom features a king bed and a private office/sunroom with its own twin trundle bed and a convenient desk/work space. The second spacious bedroom also boasts a king bed, a desk, and a sitting area with a couch. A comfortable sofa in the living area offers additional sleeping options for larger groups. There are two full, updated baths, one with a shower/tub combo and a smaller second bathroom with a shower only. Sip a cup of coffee or glass of wine on the patio and enjoy the quiet bustle of the darling neighborhood.

Ideally situated on a sprawling corner lot within easy walking distance to the many popular restaurants and shops in the upscale neighborhood of So. Highland Park, this historic 1929 getaway has been lovingly maintained and masterfully decorated for guests to enjoy. Original, period design details include plaster walls, tile fireplace surround and rich wood flooring throughout.

Note: This is the downstairs unit of a four residence building. Larger parties can rent the adjacent units (as available) to enjoy a spacious yet private group retreat. Guests have access to a spot in the private uncovered parking lot, plus ample free street parking. Guests can access the entire residence.

Built in 1929, this historic gem is an ideal blend of old world charm and many modern conveniences (think central heat and air, dishwasher, washer/dryer, updated finishes/fixtures and glamorous decor). While it has been carefully maintained and updated, The Prescott is still an older home, making it both quirky and charming. (Translation: You won't find any sleek task lighting or cushion-close cabinetry here!) The fireplace is decorative and not operational.

Great Stayy in Dallas
The property is in a great location, just South of Highland Park and near Uptown. The layout and the rooms are nice. The bathrooms are a bit dated, but clean and worked well. My only complaint is that the person in the condo above walked around most of the night and woke us up repeatedly. Apparently, the floor is not very well insulated. On the positive note, Sara was very responsive, the kitchen was well equipped, and everything was very nice. We'd stay there again!

We loved our stay!! The neighborhood is safe and beautiful! We felt comfortable and had plenty of room. Parking is super easy! This will sound funny but the sheets smelled so good!! We would come back in a HOT minute!! House manager was receptive and made our stay that much better!! DON’T MISS OUT!!!

Great location, but no other redeeming qualities!
I would not recommend this property nor the property host. I ended up out checking out early, due to A/C issues in 110 temperatures in TX, as well as an overall lack of cleanliness in the property. I let the host know I checked out early and listed some, but candidly not all, of the issues I had and received a lengthy and unprofessional rebuttal to my comments. I didn't ask for a refund for the nights I didn't stay, so instead of saying "Thanks for the feedback and I'll look into it", I received a lengthy response back essentially saying "it was me not the unit nor her management of it". Extremely disappointing considering the money I paid. I would avoid this property and host on future rentals.

The Prescott is a great place to stay in a beautiful neighborhood close to restaurants and shops. The units are very spacious and bright with lots of windows. Sara was very easy to communicate with and responds quickly. I would definitely return to The Prescott!

Great property in a great location. Close to restaurants, shops and SMU Campus. Down the street from Highland Park Shops. The spacious rooms are comfortable.
