”As part of our 10-year wedding anniversary, my wife and I spent a weekend at this beautiful property. Tucked away in the hills of Marion, it felt like our private oasis. We came from a crowded suburb in NC and quiet of the night and stillness if the starts were mesmerizing. ”We had an amazing stay! When we walked in, the house was spotless and so inviting, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Our host was the definition of hospitality, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We loved hiking The Channels and attending the MLB Speedway Classic, even though the game got rained out the first time. ”We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was beautifully decorated. Everything we could have needed was available. We just went to Ingles for food and cooked all our meals at the cabin. I fell in love with the screened in porch. I felt like i was in a tree house. My favorite spot was the outdoor couch. It's hard to believe it is early August and we could spend an entire day outside, even in the hot tub. ”

”I loved the place overall, I only had a few things to mention. There was no shower caddy, there was alot of poison ivy on one of the trees near the deck. ”It was an awesome cabin in the woods. Everything was great, the beds were very comfortable. We had to walk down hill to the river which was a little steep. Overall, I’d love to stay here again. It’s the perfect spot for me because I love being in the mountains! You could sit out on the deck and watch people float down the river and just sit there and listen to the river and the mountains. ”We had a great stay at this property. Came with my in-laws, my husband and my daughter to escape the heat. The drive in was beautiful, the weather was mild even in the dead of summer, and the views at the house were unbeatable. Lovely home with plenty of parking. A bit of a drive to get places, but that's part of the charm. Having a "house guide" might be helpful so that the WiFi information is immediately available, rather than having to ask for it, since cell service isn't reliable. Thankful...

”From entering the cabin, to the time we left, we were met with a warm cozy spirit. The place was clean and smelt pleasant, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. ”The cabin is well maintained and very pleasant place to stay. Be sure to read the Host's manual, although he regularly checks in on VRBO to see how you are doing. Be sure to bring a vehicle that can handle the road leading up to the cabin. Although there is a wide spot where you can park and walk a bit.
