”Our phone didn’t work and we couldn’t raise the blinds in our room. When we told the staff they told us to use our cell phones and maintenance would take care of it tomorrow and offered to move us to a room on the fourth floor while the elevator wasn’t working. They didn’t know there is a remote to raise the blinds. We found out when we checked out.”

”Breakfast was lacking. I put on a clean pair of socks after taking a shower at 5 pm. The next morning, the bottom of my socks were black.”

”The place is under a new management and has been remodeled. The whole place was extremely clean. We did have some problems with the keyless locking system and did not have internet for the night we stayed there. There is a restaurant that had just opened from 7:00 to 3:00 and a 24-hour convenience store that is well lit with little snacks and sodas and such in vending machines. The location is quite quiet and right off the Blue Ridgeparkway. Pretty close to an excellent restaurant Chateau...

”Wonderful area, lots to do & see. Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. So very quiet up there, large porch, lots of rocking chairs & a swing. They had a spacious interior(living room & separate dining room), library with puzzles & games. Good Coffee & tea Excellent food! Staff was personable but were careful to give you space. Can't wait to go back!”

”The property was a great choice. Although it is in the middle of nowhere, I’d travel just to stay back at this property. It was very clean, like very clean from entering on the property, inside lobby, fitness center and my room. I loved the wine bar that was inside the hotel lobby, the breakfast had great options and my room was comfortable besides me not knowing hours to close the main curtains to block out the street light which was directly in front of my room. ”An old building budget motel with maybe a few permanent residents and no fancy cars in the lot but worked well for this old biker. The room was recently painted and clean. No bugs, a hot shower with great pressure. Waffle house across the street, McD next door. A good view of the famous mountain.”
