”Oani was the perfect stay for me as a single solo traveler! I love that it is central to ximendeng and close to the metro station. I booked a private room but saw that they offer dormitory style shared rooms as well as rooms for families. Staff was friendly and spoke english if needed. I appreciated the self service laundry and refreshments in the shared dining space. Housekeeping prepared fresh clean towels daily and my room was always clean when I came back from exploring taipei. ”Good:
Cleaning works well. Second floors snack selection is so good!
Improvements:
Elevator made a loud sound and felt like it fell down a bit. Rooms are very small and there is no safety boxes but reception has a box. Problem with their safety deposite box is that they don't verify that you actually own that stuff. Only room number is not enough to verify that you are the owner!”

”The location is great, a short walk from Ximen metro and the Red House. Despite the busy surroundings, the hotel is peaceful and quiet. The room was spacious, tidy and very clean, so was the bathroom. The staff very extremely attentive, helpful, cheerful and welcoming. The price is very reasonable. There is a set-menu breakfast (both Chinese and Western options, changing daily) which is very convinient.”
