4. Iconic Church Turned Unique Stay (Casino/VIR)

Danville

”We stayed at Boogie church for a long weekend art retreat. It's a fun, one-of-a-kind property filled with history and humor. There is a lot of space / huge rooms. We enjoyed eating in the dining room each evening. The beds are comfortable and it's nice to have an ac/heat unit in each bedroom. Danville is a pretty, quiet city. We walked to the Farmer's Market on Saturday morning. Jeremy was very responsive and check in and check out was easy. This is a funky place but that's why it's special!”

The shower was spacious and bed was soo comfy after a long day on our feet. Full kitchen & laundry were beneficial in enjoying home cooked meals at night and washing clothes before coming home. (There’s a Mennonite farm just...

The place is clean, cozy, and super comfortable with two nice bedrooms, each with its own TV, plus two bathrooms which made everything easy. The living area is perfect for relaxing—fireplace, huge TV, and everything you need to feel at home. The fenced yard and quiet setting across from wooded land made it really peaceful, and we even enjoyed seeing wildlife nearby.Great location close to town but still private and quiet.
