The Surfers DECK is located just a few minutes from Interlaken on Lake Thun. It is one of the six SURFERSHOME apartments and is ideal for small families with children – compact, practical and with a lovely view of the lake.



⚓ Maritime accents, a double bed plus a bunk bed, a kitchenette, beautiful lake views, and access to the pool and lakeside lawn make it a charming, practical, and cozy retreat near Interlaken.



The Space:

It features a kitchenette, a double bed + bunk bed*, and wonderful views of the mountains and Lake Thun.

Guest Access:

You have access to the entire apartment, the terrace, as well as the outdoor pool and the lakeside lawn at Lake Thun 🏊‍♂️🌿



⏱️✨ Self check-in is completely time-flexible – arrive whenever it suits you.



🚗 Parking:

We provide a free parking card for the large public parking area directly next to the property.



🚃 Arrival by public transport:

Via Interlaken West, you can take bus no. 60 directly to the stop “Därligen Dorf.” From there, it’s only a 3–5 minute walk (approx. 400 m) to the apartment.

Interlaken and the entire Jungfrau region are practically right on your doorstep – ideal for all kinds of excursions 🏔️



🧳 Early arrival:

Early check-in is often not possible. If you arrive earlier, you can conveniently store your luggage in the lockers at Interlaken West train station – so you can start your day relaxed 🔒😊



The Neighborhood:

The four SURFERSHOME apartments are located in the quiet lakeside village of Därligen – perfect for guests who want to be close to Interlaken but prefer a calm, relaxed setting away from the crowds.



🌿 Nature & tranquility:

Located directly on Lake Thun and surrounded by mountains – ideal for unwinding, walking, and enjoying the scenery.



🌊 Lake & leisure:

The swimming pier at the lakeshore is just a few steps away and invites you to swim, sunbathe, or simply relax.



🏞️ Ideal base:

Interlaken, the gateway to the Jungfrau region, is only a few minutes away and offers access to highlights such as Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Mürren, Wengen, Harder Kulm, and many more.



Getting Around:

The location is ideal for flexible travel by car or public transport.

The Deck has a few special features, which is why it has its own section:

⚠️ Third sleeping space (bunk bed) is only conditionally suitable – mainly for children

⚠️ No elevator in the building

⚠️ Kitchen without extractor fan and without oven

⚠️ Nearby railway line – light noise possible

⚠️ No guest card available in Därligen



Interaction with Guests:

We give you your space, but we’re always here for you! 😊



🔹 Before your arrival:

You’ll receive all important information for online check-in 4 days before arrival.

Once completed, you’ll receive your personal access code for the apartment.



🔹 On arrival day:

About 1 hour before check-in, we’ll send you the most important information again – so you can arrive relaxed.



🔹 During your stay:

If you have any questions, you can reach us anytime via the app’s messaging system.

We respond quickly and prefer written communication to avoid language barriers.
