”We only had one night at Rose Cottage however we wished we could have stayed longer. Beautifully furnished and more spacious than we imagined. Great to have 2 bathrooms too - real bonus. Kitchen and lounge areas were perfect. Beds were also really comfortable and we were amazed how quiet it was considering it was attached to other properties. All in all a real gem of a cottage in a really pretty village.”

”Good if small apartment booked for airshow so location was great. We did find the bed very hard and was surprised to see building work on the green outside which hadn’t been mentioned when booking. Wouldn’t have stayed there if it wasn’t for the airshow, but this was the area not the apartment”

From the outside we were actually a bit anxious as some of the other apartment / hotels are run down but the minute you step foot through the door you can see how much time effort and care has been put into your stay. ”Very nice spacious apartment Lovely views and great location Car park is very small and tight Above a pub so can be noisy The pubs kitchen fan is on the balcony which is quite loud so not a very peaceful sit on the balcony Lots of kitchen essentials and games Comfy beds!”

”It makes Fawlty Towers look professional, friendly and clean. Couldn't quite believe this is a functioning institution. The fact they refuse to refund the booking only adds insult to injury. Shame on Hotels.com for even listing this place. And shame for them not protecting their users by refunding themselves.”

”This was our 3rd stay at the Muntham Appartments (6th stay with Torquay holiday Lettings in total) & was fantastic as always. Grant & Adam always make us feel very welcome and valued guests. Our room was spotlessly clean as always and stocked with the essentials, as well as some lovely treats too. Brody (our doggie) is always happy staying here, he’s supplied with useful throws/towels etc. as well as some tasty treats and lots of affection from both Grant & Adam and is always excited to see...

”The location and size of this apartment was perfect for us. It was decorated nicely, neat and tidy. For working remotely for a week it was good but if I was staying for longer, I would have preferred to have better working conditions. I worked using the kitchen table as my work desk which then couldn't be used for dining. Also the cooking possibilities were limited as the kitchen is small and therefore can't have too many bowls or utensils (for example there is no whisk or chopping boards). But...

”The property is exactly as described. Very nicely appointed, perfectly clean and in a good location. It can be noisey at the weekend due to its proximity to a nightclub, but it didn't affect us during our weekend stay. We would certainly return again.”
