Escape to the serenity of Dauphin Island and discover The Dauphin Pod, a newly constructed 1 Bedroom/1 Bathroom rental tucked among the island's Maritime Pine Forrest. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of this private getaway, designed with a beach vibe to ensure a relaxing and unique experience. This is a no-smoking property! Quiet hours are enforced between 10 pm-7 am.

🌴Contemporary Comfort: The Dauphin Pod offers modern comfort and style. Enjoy a private stay in a tranquil setting, perfect for couples seeking a peaceful retreat.
🌴Queen-Sized Tempur-Pedic mattress.
🌴Beautiful tiled walk-in shower is equipped with dispenser-style Shampoo, Conditioner, and Body Wash.
🌴Plush towels, washcloths, and linens are provided.
🌴Kitchenette well-equipped with a Microwave, Toaster, Keurig Pod Coffee Maker, and a Convection Hot Plate with pans for small cooking and heating.
🌴Plates, utensils, and drinkware are also provided.
🌴A small Wood Pellet Grill and smoker downstairs add a touch of culinary delight.
🌴Exclusive and Cozy designed for 1 or 2 guests only. (It is not suitable for young children, large groups, or multi-family stays, ensuring an exclusive and cozy experience)
🌴Bikes, beach chairs, and corn hole boards in the shed for your use.
🌴Tesla Charging Bay: If you own a Tesla, take advantage of the Tesla charging bay area. Kindly refrain from parking in this area unless charging your car after the Charging Car Fee has been paid.
🌴Private Entrance: The Dauphin Pod is a separate 1 Bedroom apartment space on the right (south) side of the building. Enjoy your own entrance and a unique door code provided before check-in for added convenience. You also have your own private deck located off the side of the master bedroom.
🌴Safety and Privacy: For your safety and noise monitoring, outdoor cameras are in place, recording the property's exterior. Rest assured, there are no cameras inside or with any view of the interior of The Dauphin Pod.
🌴You'll get a starter pack of paper goods, soaps, and trash bags, but go ahead and plan to bring more for extended stays.
The Town of Dauphin Island has a strict Noise Enforcement policy, quite hours are between 10 pm-7 am. This is a neighborhood setting, so this policy will be enforced.

A security deposit and rental agreement are required with this property, as well as a cleaning fee. The security deposit will be a pre-authorization placed on the credit card that you will provide when filling out the rental agreement.

Perfect quiet area to relax.

Great getaway spot for 2 people. Selling point was ability to bring our dog. Located in a quiet area. Within 10-15 minutes from anything you want to do on the island. Host had helpful information listed on things to do, places to shop and eat. Island was clean/beautiful and surprisingly not crowded. We had a great time and plan to be back.

As soon as we arrived at the property we was impressed with the curb appeal and when we went inside we were impressed by how it was decorated and how clean it was. This property has anything you could ask for. Our yorkie felt right at home. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

Great dog friendly place to stay!

Dauphin pod was a great dog friendly place to stay for my husband and I. It was centrally located on the Island. The beach was about a .5 mile walk so I would suggest taking a little wagon to haul your beach gear. It was very clean and had all the essentials! Communication with the host was very quick.

A cozy couple’s retreat

Dauphin Pod is a perfect place for a couple’s getaway on a beautiful island. The two rooms, kitchenette and bathroom are just right for two. The place is clean, well-maintained and nicely decorated. There is a small kitchenette that, when we stayed, only had a microwave for heating things up (no table or stove) but a great place to get meals just down the street is Dinner’s Up, which has ready-to-eat take-out meals that only need to be warmed up, which we found to be a perfect choice. You can also sit out on the deck or in two other places downstairs for relaxing and eating. Also, don’t miss breakfast or lunch at the Lighthouse Bakery. We especially appreciated being in the residential part of the island, nestled in among the trees. The aquarium, Audubon refuge and a secluded beach are all nearby. There are bikes available and a bike path that runs the whole length of the island is just two blocks away. We loved the small town feel and friendly, welcoming people and look forward to returning for another, longer stay.

Relaxing & Peaceful

The owner paid great attention to personal details for not only myself & my spouse but also our 2 dogs. It was very pet friendly space. The house seemed secluded even though there were other houses around. The beach was close by along with everything else on the island. We were able to relax without having to worry about anything. We will be going back!

Perfect getaway

The Dauphin Pod was a perfect long weekend getaway! Great neighborhood that made walking to the beach easy, fantastic biking and the Pod had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. During the rain the covered breezeway was perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine and reading and was also great for morning coffee. The kitchenette with the air fryer and nice refrigerator/freezer made meals easy. The overall attention to detail made it such a comfortable stay! I will definitely be back 😊

Nice & quiet

A nice little one bed & one bath spot for couples. Liked the fire pit and grilling area. Landscaping needs some work and recommend leaving more firewood for the fire pit. I think it would be a good option to include the golf cart as an option when booking or include it in booking. The surrounding neighbors don’t bother and it is very quiet. The bikes are a nice option as well.

Great spot!

The trip to the beach is far with a lot of stuff, but you can make a few trips. Worth it if you are staying all day. House was cute, clean, and everything is very close. We really enjoyed our stay. The beach was very quiet and clean.
