”Couldn't check in first night due to system failure and had to find a different hotel. Checking out on the second night experienced a power failure (no backup generator apparently) and had to leave to leave in the dark. Just requested a receipt as I never received one and my name was listed correctly at a completely different address and state and at different rate then I prepaid. I am now going through the hassle of getting things corrected.”

”We loved our overnight stay in the deluxe studio (no 5). We arrived to a spotlessly clean, well equipped apartment with lots of little touches to make our stay comfortable. The location is great - away from the town, but very quick to get to downtown. The historic Jefferson Monticello house and other historic sights were nearby but as we were short for time we made a priority of walking down the downtown mall in the evening and visiting the UVA especially the rotunda and the university chapel in...

”I stayed one night at Sleep Inn and Suites. Upon arrival, I had a quick and easy check-in; both of the individuals were extremely welcoming and helpful. My trip consisted of visiting the nearby Monticello, which made this a very convenient location to stay at. The room was clean and as described, although the guy at the counter did upgrade me (free of charge) to a king size bed which was nice. I would recommend this hotel if you’re in the area and visiting Monticello.”

”Elevator didnt work, No coffee maker, No hair dryer, No conditioner, just shampoo and soap. Has many surfaces in hallway taped off and patched up for painting, Strange smell in hallways, Carpet in hallways need vacuuming, Floors in room seems a little grimey. Breakfast was basically coffee I was not able to drink, breakfast bars and packs of instant oatmeal and grits, so I went to get coffee elsewhere. Comfortable and clean otherwise.”

”The staff were accommodating. The breakfast was horrible. The eggs were placed out with lots of water in the serving dish the oatmeal was lumpy, the sausage looked and taste under cooked. The fridge in the room cuts off, leaving items placed very warm. Didn't have trash bags in wastebaskets. someone came in my room while I was out a stole little personal items, eye drops and travel body care products, I could tell that someone had went through my bags and clothing left on the bed.”

”I’ve never paid so much for such a disappointing stay. The shower water pressure was so strong that it hurt my skin and the tub would not drain. It could not be adjusted. There was so fan in the bathroom so the entire area fogged up and even mirrors/tv screens in the actual room. I used the hair dryer and a bad smell came from the outlet, and when I removed it the tongs were hot enough to burn me. I checked in late at 11:30 but somehow at 1:30 it was still noisy enough on my hall to wake me out...

”A “fine” stay. I booked this property for the pool which was out of order. Staff not engaging or helpful other than the lovely breakfast area gentleman. Room was very good and met our needs.”
