Schon bei den Vorbereitungen hat uns Julia, die übrigens sehr gut Englisch spricht, per WeChat beraten sowie den unentgeltlichen Transport vom Bahnhof Lijiang organisiert. Der Empfang durch Julia und ihre Mitarbeiterinnen war dann auch entsprechend herzlich und zuvorkommend. Bei der Unterkunft handelt es sich um ein altes «Historical Building» in der Altstadt von Lijiang, das sehr gepflegt ist. Hier fühlt man...

”It was such a heart warning stay. Loved the host and family’s reception and kindness. The location is perfect, away from the noisy part of the town and yet, on the most beautiful back street, with creek and stone bridge right in the front. Will certainly come back next time in Lijiang.”

”I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and came with excellent amenities, including a nice bathtub and a Japanese bidet toilet. Housekeeping was prompt and consistent every day. A special thanks to Ms. Xiao Qing at the reception. ”It’s a beautiful hotel with very helpful staff. The location of the hotel cannot be better especially for people with luggage’s as it’s right at the edge of the ancient town so we don’t need to drag our luggage on narrow cobblestone roads in town. We went to eat inside the ancient town almost every day. The hotel consists of individual old-style houses which are very private yet inside is new and tastefully decorated. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful with all we needed...

”The room is clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The owner speaks English and uses WeChat to keep us posted. The only complaint is it may take sometimes for the hot water to arrive, and the room is a bit cold. Moreover, the hotel is situated in the center of Lijiang old town, which makes travelling easier and saves time.”

”Incredible place to stay! Only a short walk from the core of old town this beautiful property is owned by an incredibly kind and helpful gentleman Dom! I was lucky enough to spend some time and get to know him a bit. He helped me with booking travel and different activities within the city as well! Very clean room, the staff was very attentive to cleaning and ensuring my stay was great, location in my opinion was perfect. A short walk to everything you need and it was incredibly comfortable”

”The current hotel's name is different with that in hotels.com, so we have wasted a lot of time to locate the hotel. The contact number wasn't valid, we found another contact through internet and reach the hotel finally. The staff 'Ms Cheung' gave us the hard-sell. She claimed that she will provide a day trip to Yulong Mountain with a very reasonable price. However, we found that was much more expensive than other agent. She changed her attitude dramatically after we rejected her offer.”

Bei meiner - zugegeben späten Reaktion - sagte man mir bei Expedia:...
