After driving 9 hours, we arrived to the property at 11 pm and were told there wasn’t a room for us. We were told to go to their other location, which was 25 minutes back in the direction from which we had just been driving. This added another 30 minutes on to the 7 1/2 hour drive we needed to finish to get to our final destination the next morning. When checking in at the other property, I was told I had to pay for the room, even though I had already paid for the night months ago. I was told that it was because my booking was for the other location, not this one, and that Expedia would have to refund that money later.
