Renter beware! The host for this place is the worst! I have never been disrespected before by any VRBO host and I have been renting for over a decade all over the country. Due to this terrible host, I won’t ever rent in Dayton, Ohio again.I had to contact VRBO over 5 times with one being at check in because we never received check in information. We came to our very dark and scary curbside appealed house at 11pm. So staying on the phone with VRBO AND our phone lights on wasn’t ideal at check-in.Then the following night, two other people entered our rental and was given the code from the host because their other place wasn’t accessible.When I talked to the host about it, he TOLD us this wasn’t a security issue. And NEVER apologized. He tried to give me hush money of 50 to not write a review-I think that may be why there is only three other reviews on this place.False description: No BBQ grill, there is no dryer, the washer is rusted, the street has two fully abandoned houses. There is no front porch light. There is no central ac-it is a window unit in each bedroom. We had to use the fan for the hall to keep cool and it was April when we stayed. As noted before there are steep wood steps walking into the main livings area. There is NO deadbolt on the front door and we used one of the armchairs bc we were afraid we would have more unwanted guests.Also, we were threatened by the host that he was going to kick us out because we wouldn’t call him back. Terrible experience!
