”The one-bedroom cottage was a true gem, offering stunning views of the lake that made every moment feel special. ”What a comfortable and cozy place to stay! The location is perfect for a visit to Indiana --- close to downtown, IUP, shopping, and even a lovely park with hiking trails. Chris, our host, was terrific: great communication and the property was just as described. We enjoyed quiet walks in the neighborhood and the back deck is perfect for a morning or evening cup of coffee. The bed was comfy and the bath was well appointed. We had a wonderul stay. Highly recommend!”

”I stayed here for three months while working at a local hospital. This was my fifth travel contract and this was probably the best housing I've had so far. There was a dishwasher, washer, and dryer and even though I was there mostly in winter/early spring the deck was a great addition. Very clean and comfortable. Would wholeheartedly recommend!”

”What a lovely house! The 3 of us came in just to visit Punxsutawney and fell in love with Smicksburg! We enjoyed our stay here so much and would definitely return. The check in was simple and parking in the back worked out great. The kitchen is enormous, stocked with plenty of utensils/dishes, soap, plastic wrap, salt/pepper shakers. There aren't many restaurants in the area, so making full use out of the kitchen was very helpful. In addition, there was a cute little coffee/tea setup, full water...

”This is a very nicely renovated home, the listing is very accurate and so are the pictures. The curtains are thin so if light bothers you sleeping this may be an issue. A very common item not in the listing or provided is a coffee pot or cups. So if you are in the 66% that drink coffee bring you own,or plan to go buy it somewhere, which adds cost to your trip. Everything else is very nice great appliances, the kitchen is well equipped. ”

”We were looking for a place to stay for one night, and this worked out fine. The location was great for getting to IUP. Definitely a bare bones kind of place, no napkins or even paper towels. No shampoos or soaps, and half of the light bulbs did not work. The traffic noise was very loud with the air conditioning units still in the windows. But it was pretty clean and we only needed a place to sleep.”
