”My wife and I stayed here to get away for a little bit and celebrate her birthday. What a wonderful place to get away too! It's a little walk to the lake, but it's still a really nice view of the lake and wonderful property (with lots of windows). It was hot so we enjoyed the air conditioning. My wife read as many books as she could in the comfy furniture while enjoying the view and I enjoyed hiking the magical trails and kayaking with the Koi fish in the lake. I would definitely recommend this...

”Cozy little place set on a quiet hill. Lightning bugs galore on June nights. Close to a number of cafes and restaurants in Apollo, Vandergrift and Leechburg. Was a convenient location for a wedding at a nearby farm venue. While it was a bit hot and muggy for June, the AC provided a nice respite. ”What a lovely house! The 3 of us came in just to visit Punxsutawney and fell in love with Smicksburg! We enjoyed our stay here so much and would definitely return. ”We were looking for a place to stay for one night, and this worked out fine. The location was great for getting to IUP. Definitely a bare bones kind of place, no napkins or even paper towels.
