Dramatic 19th floor two-story great room with floor to ceiling windows will captivate as you walk in the door. Each of the 3 bedrooms offer ocean view along with ocean front balconies. Take the stairs to a heavenly spacious primary bedroom suite with king size bed and spa inspired bathroom on the second floor. Main floor bedrooms with en-suites consist of queen bed in second bedroom and 2 queen beds in the third bedroom. Beautiful full kitchen and dining area with queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

For the entire family, this resort is a watery paradise, whether you opt to play in the pools - there are two outdoor heated pools - or run into the waves. There's a water slide and lazy river where kids (and adults) can float lazily along on tubes. One pool includes an interactive, aquatic island playground. Ocean Walk's beach is car-free and kid-friendly.

The resort is right on the sand making quick runs to your room throughout the day easy for snacks or breaks from the sun. You can't ask for a more well-rounded vacation spot! Indoor mini golf, a fitness center, game room and programs for both kids and adults.

Situated next to the famous Daytona Beach bandshell, you can enjoy frequent concerts presented by well-known artists, numerous special events, as well as athletic competitions that continue to make Daytona a popular destination. This review focuses specifically on this unit, not the resort. **Positives:**- 3 spacious bedrooms and 3 bathrooms provide ample space- Each bedroom features its own balcony with stunning views- Being an end unit on the top floor provided a quiet environment- The mattresses & washer/dryer appear brand new-unit was very clean**Note:**- furniture, decor, bathrooms, kitchen appear to not have been updated since the 1980s even though the unit was built in 2001-literally a dozen light switches in main area; they should be labeled **Negatives:**- there is one 3 cushion sofa and 1 chair in the living room which is insufficient seating for a condo for 12; it needs at least 2 sofas to enjoy the indoor space-The air conditioning in the upstairs bedroom and bathroom is insufficient, remaining warm despite maintenance intervention. This could be a significant issue during the summer months- The upstairs half shower curtain does not fully encircle the shower leading to a lack of privacy and a very slippery floor - The carpets and bedspreads throughout the unit are in poor condition and require replacement.- The garage disposal is inoperative, leaving behind unpleasant odors from old food (we did not use until the last night)- 1 bedroom's curtains are torn from the rod, and the living area curtains are held up by a precarious wooden stick- 1 barstool has a broken backThat being said, we knew much of this from reading other reviews and had a wonderful vacation.

The penthouse offered the space our large family needed- 6 adults & 4 children. It was spacious and we were able to give each family their own space & bathroom/bedroom. The unit is a bit dated but nothing too bad. When we arrived, one of the main blinds was broken so our views in Living room was blocked. Also dryer not working. We were told the blind would not be fixed during our stay. We did get the washer & dryer replaced & the team provided fresh bath & pool towels daily until it was fixed. Overall, it was a very good experience & I would recommend the penthouse. We would go back again.

Needs updates and repairs

We stayed at this property 2 years ago and it is significantly run down. We gave hosts feedback, but for the rate you should be aware that this condo needs updates, repairs and deep cleaning. Concerns are old linens (towels and sheets with holes), mold in bathrooms, very soiled carpet and dirty floors, standing water in dryer, kitchen supplies are sparse, no hot water in 1 restroom (which they did repair while we stayed), old dusty decor, etc. I never leave negative reviews, but please know this is not a luxury condo, which the rate suggests.

Pool area and beach are very nice. Lots of activities for all ages. Pool DJ’s kept a fun atmosphere with great music, line dancing, and games for kids and adults. Unit 1901 is showing its age. Bathroom water in bedroom with two beds didn’t work well. Kitchen not stocked well with utensils and pots/pans making it difficult to cook. Beds were comfortable. Upstairs bedroom layout is unique.

Fantastic Property!

This was an amazing vacation rental! The unit was clean and kitchen well stocked with utensils. Plenty of room for everyone. Amazing views! Property owner was very quick to respond to anything we needed within the hour. Only thing that blind sided me was the resorts security that came off pretty rude. May have been due to it being a holiday weekend and dealing with such large crowds. Pool gets crowded quick. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this rental to anyone.

Terrible amenities

Room was in good condition when we arrived. Trying to sleep at night was very difficult. Old furnace made loud banging noise throughout the night. Toilets made loud sounds as well, keeping me up most of the night. It was so difficult to get a good night sleep, we decided to leave and forego our last night to stay at a different place. When I messaged the host and asked if he would refund our last night, I was told that’s not part of their policy but they will look into it. I’ve heard nothing back after sending a message. I would not stay at the place if you want to get a good night sleep while on vacation. So disappointed.

Not impressed

Sadly the negatives outweighed the positives about this unit/resort. Master bathroom had what appeared to be black mold on the tile. The shower is inside the jacuzzi tub that is on a platform. A half-width shower curtain doesn’t contain water from spraying onto the tile floor which became slippery and was hard to step out of. The faucet had to be positioned just right to get “hot” water. The living area wooden floor was not in the best shape and the furniture and decor are dated. The oceanfront balcony is off a guest bedroom so it limited when and who could sit on it. The guest bathroom fan didn’t work. The elevators needed repaired the first 2 days, so there were 20-30 minute wait times. While we were there, the AC stopped working, there was a fire alarm so we had to walk down 19 flights of stairs, and the front lobby also flooded. Also, the dryer in the unit did not dry the clothes at all. Finally, although the pool area is nice, people save chairs early (even though they are left empty with a towel for hours), so there is no where to sit. The booking and communication was decent, maintenance fixed the AC timely. Daytona Beach is so-so. Overall, I wasn’t impressed and wouldn’t return. I don’t often leave reviews, but this info would’ve been helpful prior to booking.

Disappointment

The unit we stayed in is really weathered. I’m surprised at the price we paid lights that didn’t work master bedroom sink hot water didn’t work front guess bathroom sink water shut out when we turn it on so the closet doors are all falling off. I believe there’s one kitchen towel and one pot holder. Definitely not a well supplied kitchen for family to cook. The air conditioning in the second floor quit three or four times. Just really disappointing at the price I paid for the quality of the unit. Definitely needs good cleaning an upgraded. As far as the amenities, we enjoyed the beach, the pool, concert, next-door and a couple nights. We went out to eat restaurants nearby.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay at the penthouse at the ocean-walk. Like a lot of these condos, needs updating, but was clean .

Perfect Home Stay

Hands down this was such a perfect rental and location and f you are looking to relax on the beach or relax by the many pools and hot tubs! Great location. property was super clean and perfect for our family/ Host of property was excellent at accommodating all of our needs. Definitely recommend this property and I hope to visit again soon! Definitely give this 5 stars it was just perfect!

Mixed Emotions would not stay here again

On the positive side: the condo was large and a great location. It is dated but comfortable. Management was easy to reach and very responsive. The owner was also easy to reach but not very helpful and did not offer compensation for lack of hot water and no AC. On the negative side: NO AC on the second level upon arrival Maintenance came up. Fixed it but the filter looks like it has NEVER been changed! Request made, never done. Intermittent AC up there all week. Main bedroom is up there. The entire unit has an. Unpleasant order. Vents were wet, most likely moldy’ Carpeting in front bedroom and main bedroom are very stained and old. Dryer only works on timed dry and takes forever. Lots of lights not working only a few were attended to while we were there. Main shower is IN the jacuzzi tub which is elevated on slick tile. Im sure this is against code. FALL HAZZARD! Hot water only works if you turn the faucet on slightly from off. But no one told us ahead of time. All TV’s were disconnected upon arrival. Maintenance fixed it though. Two plumbers showed up unannounced at 10:45pm and worked until 12:30am. This unit had no plumbing issues it was a building problem. Why 10:45PM/ I was terrified to open the door. Large window shown in photo is extremely dirty with bird excrement and sea mist. Probably never cleaned in 15 years. Oddly the smallest bedroom is the ocean front room. We will not return to this property.

Penthouse

Great location and most food and activities in walking distance. Good experience except using shower head in upstairs bathroom only has cold water. Had to take a bath all week. Maintenance was very helpful and said they will have to fix after we leave. Overall nice layout and great location!

Great property. Plenty of space two stories multiple balconies overlooking the ocean. Clean, updated appliances and bathrooms. The personal concierge Angel and Jenny were awesome.

Great place for a larg family.

This is a great self contained condo to accommodate our large family. The facility gave the perfect balance of amenities and beach access. Something for everyone. The owners were very responsive and the condo was well equipped. We are very happy with our stay. A great experience overall!

Beautiful View

We truly enjoyed saying in this beautiful condo! Great space for a family and extended family! The resort had great amenities to keep everyone busy and happy! Will for sure be staying here again next time we visit Daytona Beach!!
