Reasons for poor rating
The problems started with having to communicate via email with property management if you had any issues. No one wants to sit by their computer waiting for an email response. There were supposed to be 2 property keys to be used to access pool, gym, beach...etc there was only one. There were supposed to be 2 parking passes there were none (threat of car being towed without a parking pass does not create a stress-free environment). Apparently, the maintenance staff was aware of this but no note indicating the key and passes were missing was left for us. It made for a very tense first couple days. We finally received one pass after the first 24 hours, and the 2nd key arrived Thursday afternoon. Days after we had to deal with letting each other in or out of the pool and beach area.
The door from the unit to its balcony would not lock. Since we were only one floor above the ground, anyone could climb up from their car in the parking lot just below to our balcony.
The electric stove did not seem safe to use as all the heating elements seemed to be loose.
Maintenance never responded to our complaint regarding the unit not being secure.
I am very disappointed with ITRIP who managed the property mainly because the customer service and contacts for issues are via emai.l. Thankfully, we did not require an emergency maintenance issue such as A/C not working.
Satellite TV worked very intermittently.
Initial appearance of unit was very disappointing. The front door could definitely use a new paint job!
