We checked in around 9pm and received great service upon arrival. It was late and the room had poor lighting so we didnât see the mold on the walls and ceiling. My spouse is a disabled veteran with lung issues. He was having trouble breathing. I was woken by the maid entering our room first thing in the morning. We requested a room change due to the mold. The maintenance man wanted my spouse to show him the mold before they moved us. We got into our new room; which was cleaner and minus mold. My spouse removed his clothes and laid down on the bed to relax. The maid came in our room unannounced again. We complained and asked for a discount or refund. The âresortâ refused to help because we booked through Expedia. Expedia doesnât do anything for you either.
