”Super friendly staff who were easy to converse with, the inn was well maintained with vintage roots and a splash off modern. The food was excellent. On the listing it does say they have laundry facilities, but after asking it turns out they don’t. So be aware if that is a need. I would surely go back again if I am in the area!”

”Amazing local feel with local owner/operators. Extremely clean and stunning veiws of Dover. Great homade breakfast and super helpful with information about the area. Best place to stay without exception!”

”A great bedroom in a house that's full of character. En-suite shower-room with a fabulous shower. Warm and welcoming hosts. Fantastic breakfast with seriously good vegetarian options.
Go there! We certainly will again. ”

”Note, The Old Alma does not use Hotelsdotcom -platform. I made a reservation and it was not found (and the hotel was fully booked). Nice owners were sorry and explained that this hotel is not available via Hotelsdotcom at all.”

”It was all so simple, the code was sent through via email for the lock box which contained a fob to get in the main door and key for the bedroom door. Claire was very helpful when we arrived. The rooms are lovely and spacious, comfy bed too! Breakfast was a continental spread and lovely start to the morning, the staff member was very courteous and friendly. All in all a good stay - thank you Bat & ball Xx”

”Good location, walkable to Canterbury Cathedral. Good single room, comfortable bed. Hosts were very friendly and helped me up to my room by carrying my suitcase. Since I was on the top floor, this was much appreciated. Breakfast was plentiful starting with continental choices and then a full cooked meal with several choices on the menu. Very good value for the cost.”
