”This property does need deserve an 8 rating.
1. It is not a well maintained property or well cleaned. It’s a rundown motel with water damage and mold. Bugs are present in the rooms. Rooms smell musty. Parking lot is dirty. Sheets are not clean.
2. The breakfast should not be top rated unless you are okay with the same breakfast every other day. The muffins and bagels are tiny. The hot breakfast choices are alternating between round egg patties/sausage links and cheese omelettes/sausage...

”People at the front desk were very helpful and welcoming. Room was cleaning, spacious. Was provided with extra towels if needed. I didn’t expect to have to extend a couple of hours the day I needed to check out. They were very understanding and are reasonable with their prorate to extend. I would definitely be going back there. I highly recommend this home way from home.”

”I’ve stayed here twice in a two week span. Both times my experience was the same. It was even the same guy at the front desk. There’s nothing fancy about this hotel. It’s clean which is the most important to me. The rooms are basic, but clean as I mentioned. The free breakfast is a nice perk. No complaints there. The only slight is that there’s no bar. There’s an area for it which makes me think it might have been one at one time but not anymore.”

”We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Conroe, Texas. The hotel was nice, clean, and well maintained. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
One thing we really appreciated was that they kept towels available at the pool, which was very convenient and a thoughtful touch. The only downside was that the pool could have been a little cleaner, but it didn't take away from an otherwise enjoyable stay.
