”It is a very comfortable cottage. We were only there one day, so did not use the kitchen for cooking, but it appeared to be well stocked had we wanted to cook there.-”

”There was plenty of room for all 14 of us. Everyone enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Enjoyed exploring the town and around the area. Would definitely stay again.”

”This unique place has it all: charm, class, comfort, beauty, and fun. When you first walk in, you are greeted with a gorgeous staircase leading to most of the rooms. Our room was spacious, with a luxurious bathroom. The gourmet kitchen is equipped for anything and everything with seating for eight. The adjoining dining room has a large table with additional seating and windows lining two walls. And clean! This VRBO was impressively clean! I have to say the jail was a little eery after dark, but...

”Clean and comfortable. The finishes aren’t fancy but everything worked and nice to have off street parking and private yard. The steps to bedrooms 2 & 3 are pretty steep so might not work for everyone. Lots of TV’s so everyone can watch what they prefer. Kind and communicative hosts. I enjoyed the 1968 book celebrating the 100 year anniversary of Lime Springs for a little local history.”

”Beautiful place on a bluff, but the loft that has three mattresses is really not made for adults. You cannot stand up in it, but the hot tub and the view made up for everything. We definitely enjoyed ourselves.”

”We have stayed at the Elkader Jail House many times and the Harstad Suite is a great room for the 4 of us. The large kitchen and family space on the first floor provide plenty of space for everyone to get together and relax. Its nearby my family and takes the stress off anyone needing to make space for all of us to sleep. Its comfortable, clean and an easy to walk downtown. We'll be back soon!”

”The home was absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed the small towns in the surrounding area. It was nice to get out of the big city and relax. Home owners where very polite and on top of communication. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for welcoming us in to your home. We will be back in the future.”
