”Lovely home within walking distance to downtown. Very comfortable 'home away from home'. Our host was fantastic. She even came home from her work to help us with a heating issue. She gave us lots of excellent information for local eats and activities ”

”My family and I booked this property for our first visit to Maine. The house is adorable, very well stocked and plenty of room for the 5 of us. A perfect home away from home. Located in a quiet neighborhood and within a short drive to everything we had on our to-do list. We had a wonderful time and would 100% book with Holly again on a return trip.”

”The property was as pictured. The rooms were cleaned and towels well stocked. The kitchen also had the basics needed for cooking. It was missing the fire pit- however once notified, they brought a fire ring right over. Construction right next door and it is on the main drag so road noise is pretty significant. Also near the concert venue so if there is an artist playing, you will hear it.”

”Nice clean place, but one of the rooms was not how it was pictured. Instead of a queen, it had bunk beds. Water pressure was great upstairs but low downstairs in the bathroom. Also, ice maker didn't work. Great location”

”House was nice and cozy! The host was fantastic! Very welcoming and very responsive. Place was clean and very secluded just as advertised. We had a lot of fun exploring the area and enjoyed coming back to the house after hour day!”

”An incredible experience! The Inkwell Suite is such a comfortable, modern, and warm room. Do yourself a favor and book this room!The Tempur-pedic mattress was extremely comfortable. Rental properties can feel like a gamble sometimes with mattress quality, but the owners of the Spofford Lodge spared no expense to furnish their rooms with high quality items. The bathroom is luxurious and spacious! A shower stall and separate bath is so nice! The heated floors and towel rack are such incredible...
